Let's call it Lt. Dan for now.

Until wAtChOut confirms, I'm not believing it. We had several moderators here state no way Kyrie will ever play here. I believe in my mod brothers.

I don’t trust Marc Stein one bit when it comes to the Heat. He’s the mouth piece of Mark Cuban. The same bastard who put us on blast for the Kyle Lowry signing costing us a pick.

Tyler Herro is 6MOY and already averages over 20 ppg in his third year and the Nets aren't going to find a better point guard than Lowry that fits KD's timeline.

It's a bad trade for us.

Herro could have another leap in him and Kyrie isn't stable enough to be worth losing a starting (overpaid) PG + Herro's potential.

Keep Herro and Lowry and reassess once the Jazz look like crap at trade deadline.

Do you buy Tyler Herro as a lock to be a top 3 player on a title team? If he was I think we would have been in the finals this year, so you are banking on him becoming that. The thing about Herro is right now he’s potential, and he’s an asset. As soon as he signs that extension he better perform like an elite player consistently or that asset with potential turns into an overpaid liability.

Regardless of what you think of Herro and the questions you about his improvement curve (legit questions BTW)

Kyrie is not the answer.

He doesn't have the winning mentality, he's a small guard on the wrong side of 30 demanding a huge long term contract - that's not the smart move to make for this org moving forward.

We shouldn't panic - Herro and Dipo should be better and we keep looking for the right star scorer if he presents himself.

If we are even considering waiting another year for a guy then we might as well not even bother. Jimmy's window is now. No one else falling out of the sky into our lap. Kyrie can be had now on a discount.

Give me Jimmy/Bam/Irving for the next 4yrs, I trust this org to figure it out.

Wish there was any possible way to get John Collins. I just don’t see Atlanta receptive to sending him to the Heat. Hawks also want to clear salary. Probably Barnes for Collins swap incoming any day now.

If there’s a chance to get Kyrie, you get Kyrie.

25 ppg, 6 ast, 50/39/91 splits. And on the cheap because he’s a looney tune. Remember the last cancer we acquired on the cheap? Pick him up and figure it out.

You'd likely need a couple of pick swaps in there, too, but that would be a solid offer. Not sure Brooklyn would be interested in dealing Harris for Robinson, but it's not crazy.

If Miami was making some kind of trade like the above, it might be better for Miami to move Robinson or Harris to a 3rd team for a PF.

Yup. 25ppg 50/39/91 also unstable AF, injury-prone, and played only 103 games in the last 3 seasons.

Offer Kyle/Yurt and picks and walk away.

Teams only get better after Kyrie leaves. To paint him like Jimmy is hilarious.

Care to look at Jimmys GP prior to joining Miami, in addition to his perceived attitude.

Not saying Kyrie isn’t crazy, just saying I trust this organization to keep it in check

Bro, what are you keeping in check when the man just leaves the team and tells no one? And that team was where he WANTED to be. Fining him isn't gonna work.

Jimmy is perceived to be cancer 'cause he simply wants everyone to work hard and stop being pussies.

Basically, the guy just wants to play winning basketball every time on the court. Total opposite of Kyrie's Toxicness lmao

In that Stein podcast last night, he and Keith Smith talked about the Spurs probably just letting Lonnie Walker move on without even offering him a tender deal. Feel like he would be someone the Heat could maximize in their system if they decided to take a chance on him.
