Al Horford got folks drooling over the 2015 Hawks. Keep NBA Champion Jeff Teague away from this roster!

Millsap was once a very solid player, but he looked extremely washed up in the bubble. And that was a few years ago.

I can't imagine how he looks now.

If he plays we should be allowed 6 players on the court so that UD can push his wheelchair.

Let them get him. Millsap more washed up than my Grandma's 40 year old sheets. I'd rather keep Keef than go after Millsap. If Heat let PJ walk then they better get serious about the 4 position cuz Millsap ain't it. I don't think he can be a backup for 15 mins.

The Heat would be interested in an opt in and trade so technically wouldn't be looking for a opt out and S&T. Clever wording from Woj's tweet.

So the heat are interested in a 1 year contract?

We played against Millsap in the Philly series in this year's playoffs. He is definitely washed. Rapaz is trolling. With that said, I wouldn't be surprised to see us bring him on board for vet min. We all know Philly isn't exactly the best at maximizing what a player has to offer.

Kyrie opting in would mean it's a lower number to match salary wise and Kyrie's 5mil trade kicker gets distributed between last season and this season. If it's a sign and trade then Miami has to add more salary beyond Lowry and they would also be dealing with the hard cap limiting their flexibility beyond making the move for Kyrie. Heat still could do it but it becomes much trickier to improve the team beyond that point.

They would extend him once the trade is completed much like he was trying to do with Brooklyn this summer. Whoever is getting him are probably agreeing to a max deal with him.

I want nothing to do with Paul Millsap. Completely washed. Thad Young is a much better option even if we have to pay a little more.

Yup he just gets the lower version 4 year of the max not the 5 year super.

Depending on what they give up for him, if it's a package of Lowry and some combo of Herro, Robinson, Vincent, Strus.. sure although I don't like the idea of having a target for the other team to go after in the playoffs.

If he doesn't opt in on WEDNESDAY it's a S&T situation which hard caps whoever he goes to and Miami probably won't do that, it limits what they can do for the next season.

Don't assume it's Kyrie...

Theory, Pat is trying to go cheap on their package for Kyrie with Brooklyn so they have the understanding that they could possibly get the package they really want from Miami with KD.
