This past year worked out perfectly ramping him up coming off that serious injury.

He should be able to win our SG spot. If hes all of a sudden afraid to compete then idk.

I dont think its about competition, Spo is going to start who he wants - or do you believe that Duncan went into camp last year and “earned” a starting spot over Herro

There is no guarantee Oladipo starts over Connaughton lol

Bam is our center. We need to actually have a power rotation first before we can then begin to address it

Summerball will intrigue with Jovic and Yurtgate ballin out

Robinson is an interesting tryout

What if he did want Miami and Miami lowballed the Nets so much they said we'd rather you just walk? Riley gets some great trades but I wonder how many good trades he's missed because he tried to lowball too much?

Not likely. According to Barry Jackson, a real reporter with real sources, the team was “far more” interested with the possibility of acquiring KD than they were Kyrie. The FO probably did their due diligence on the Kyrie situation but were never close on a deal, and his interest in Miami was probably never as intense as the amateur insiders wanted us to believe.

Yup

I’m sure the team knows where our shortcomings lie. At the same time, we got to a Game 7 in the ECF. We’re close, we could easily have won the chip last year if we got a few breaks.

Not trying to mean here but dude we made it to the finals, then we added Ariza as our prize addition and got swept off the court in the playoffs. If Embiid is healthy we don't make it past the 76ers, now will he be healthy next playoffs is another things. The Hawks will upgrade defensively. The Bucks if they get Dipo will be better. We can't stay content and say we need minor changes. What was that football team that got to the Super Bowl like 3 times in a row and never won, well we don't want to be them.

Nope. He lives here and a bunch of nba players train there. He’s not coming. Blame Klutch and Riley’s hate for them. Maybe just maybe he breaks the Klutch to Miami 8 year hiatus but not holding my breath. He probably goes to the Clippers.

That Adam dude was trying to get verified by Twitter before putting out insider info. A college kid who puts zero work into this field... he may have a friend who has told him a couple things but he was cooked with the Grant rumor (not to mention everyone knew Miami had some interest in Grant dating back to trade deadline) and today he said Heat were talking to Kyrie's reps lol. Time to mute these clout chasing gamer kids.

BTW at least Laker fans were jerked around in this Kyrie saga. They were more convinced than Heat fans.

Let’s see

Bucks already won a chip and Middleton was injured so they are good

76ers trying to get PJ and Embiid was injured this year

Celtics was in the finals

Nets got their core back + Ben Simmons for next season

Lonzo/Caruso is coming back for the Bulls, younger players will get better

Cavs younger players will get better

Hornets younger players will get better

Hawks might get Murray and younger players will get better

Raptors Scottie will be better

Then there is us and just hope our players get better because LOL millsap and Carmelo ain’t gonna cut it and Lowry is falling off a cliff and Duncan is just not even worth mentioning

the insinuation here is that our younger players will not get better but somehow they will for everyone else in the conference. Not much has changed in the East (pre free agency), its Celtics, Bucks, Nets, us, then everybody else
