Well lets see.

Nets had their best season of all time and looked like they could beat the Bucks until injury in 2021.

I'm willing to throw away last season as bizarre.

Both Simmons/Kyrie played the best basketball of their careers 2 years ago.

Best season of all time? Have you forgotten what Kidd and Dr. J accomplished? Did you only become a fan when they moved to Brooklyn?

To clarify I meant regular season record wise.

Based on winning percentage they did.

Specifically NBA regular season. Dr. J led them to a better record in the ABA.

Kyrie should just play out his option if he is that overconfident. He gets traded before the trade deadline.

Nobody knows what that means including Kyrie.

But it sounds provocative!

Yes, most people don't have a salary of $37 million per year. That is indeed different.

This was all media driven hype from the get go. Kyrie had a choice opt in or opt out. he opted in. The media wanted Kyrie so bad for the struggling Lakers to sign for just $6 mill. Nets fans deserve better so unless the FO trades him or KD they should be a contender for next season. The media would have loved for him to opt out and leave and have all the drama with KD unfold. So unless Nets plan on trading both Kyrie and KD they should be all set for one more season to contend. Also by opting in and have a good season for the Nets if Kyrie were to leave his value will go up. So if LeBron wants to join up with Kyrie this upcoming season it looks like he will have to find a way to join the Nets.

Hello Brooklyn wrote:Kyrie/KD/Simmons/Harris is a perfect fit on paper.

WAY better defensively than last year.

The Philly picks and trade exceptions also set them up to acquire someone else.

Not to mention they have good shooters and few decent young guys to develop.

Kyrie now has reached a crossroads.

If he decides to show up and the Nets play well he can get a max contract in Brooklyn or somewhere else. If he continues his antics then he probably is done making that type of money.

Let's see how it goes. Nets can easily move off Kyrie if need be through trading his expiring contract.

Kyrie was the Nets best performer in the playoffs.

Not when you're a desperate attention seeking **** bag

Next on Irving's list, find something else to say or do to get attention

I was strictly quoting Blades of Glory lol I stopped trying to deceiver Kyrie's word salads along time ago.

Kyrie is just kicking the can down the road.

Why turn down $36M now to sign in LA, when you could just opt-in & raise hell in Brooklyn for 3 months before forcing your way out at the deadline?

The Nets now have a preview of what to expect next summer
so things are going to really spicy around the trade deadline :onfire:
