Maybe we could have but I don't know if Detroit would have bit. They wanted cap space before FA to after Ayton. I think you would have had to give up 2 picks, one to Detroit and another to a 3rd team to dump Robinson's contract. That would have a steep price for a guy with one year left.
But we desperately need a 4 if PJ might leave. I'd check with OKC for a Duncan + top 15 protected pick for Jamychal Green + Kenrich Williams. You get to dump Duncan's contract and you get 2 forwards back

All-time Heat role players James Posey, PJ brown and Eddie House secure the 3-1 series swing for the Celtics...

This roster needs improvement. Jimmy can't fight for his life again and carry the brick house to a championship. I'm so tired of being a blue collar team that inevitably loses to a team with more talent. Heat culture is amazing, but it would be even better with talent.

best post i read here in awhile... im not sayin ditch the heat culture thing, but we do need to stop acting like we dont talent to win.... We need a Superstar DUO to get that 4th title...

Kyle Anderson would be a super sneaky signing by us. 6’9 230 can shoot the 3 and guard multiple spots. Will probably be looking for full mid level but could be worth it. Still a young player at 28

I think the hope remains that Bam and Herro can become that star power.

He can’t shoot 3s at all really. Shoots pretty poor percentages on negligible volume. Has a slow release too.

All these rumors just seem empty and made up stuff going based off of what other reporters have thrown out there. No names being leaked. No teams. Dipo asking for 30m? We all know that's not true. We don't even have to question it.

Greg Salamander mentioned Will Barton as a possibility.

I’m not sure how Will Barton fits unless Herro is dealt

Woj wrote:After agreeing to a buyout with the Houston Rockets, guard John Wall plans to sign a free agent deal with the LA Clippers, sources told ESPN on Monday.

Sources said Wall, who was due $47.4 million from the Rockets after exercising the player option last week for the final year of his contract, agreed to take $6.5 million less to become a free agent. That is roughly the amount of the taxpayer midlevel exception, which he is likely to sign for in free agency.

Wall, who has career averages of 19.1 points and 9.1 assists per game, would fill the Clippers' need for a playmaker on a team that has championship aspirations with Kawhi Leonard returning after missing the 2021-22 season while recovering from a partially torn ACL in his right knee. Reggie Jackson averaged 16.8 points and 4.8 assists as LA's starting point guard last season, when the Clippers went 42-40 and were eliminated in a play-in game.

Wall spent the better part of last season in Miami and is known to train on his own there at least part of the year. The former Kentucky standout considered signing with the Miami HEAT before agreeing to terms with the Clippers. An ardent supporter of the body positivity movement, Wall is said to have been greatly discouraged by the public criticism HEAT President Pat Riley, a fellow Wildcat, lodged at Kyle Lowry earlier this offseason regarding the veteran point guard’s recurring struggles with his weight and diet.

What?! We lost Wall because Riley fat-shamed Lowry?!

If this is true.... I wouldn't want this man in my teams building even as an a opponent. You can tell who is just happy to be on a team getting paid and who really loves the sport and wants to compete and win.
