Nice, so Adam Levine is playing in our halftime shows. That should increase the attenance I guess. Good move by Gores.

Sure -the OT effect.

On the other hand, isn't it a rule now (or a rule soon to be implemented) that every game following an OT game automatically gets shortened to compensate for the extra minutes of the prior OT game? Thought I read that somewhere.

Shortened? How?

I've never heard of anything in the ballpark - if you have a source, I'd love to read it. That's quite radical. I couldn't even see that happening for commercials!

Whaaaaat? That can’t be true.

No, of course not. Just an attempt to add lightness.

early guess because the roster is probably for the most part complete, barring an Olynyk trade

Cade (30)/ Hayes (18)
Ivey (30)/ Burks (12)/ Cade (6)
Bey (22)/ Diallo (18) / Burks (8)
Bagley (24)/ Olynyk (16) / Bey (8)
Stew (26)/ Duren (22)

Mins breakdown
Cade - 36
Ivey - 30
Bey -30
Stew - 26
Bagley - 24
Duren - 22
Burks - 20
Diallo - 18
Hayes - 18
KO - 16

I think you forgot CoJo, who will almost certainly be in the rotation. He was starting for us last season.

I'm assuming the Joseph under Vet DNP/Injury insurance guys is Cojo and he's thinking he won't be in the rotation

I put him in the Vet DNP section, I think he'll be relegated this season into a mentor role for the young guards

Ivey/ Diallo
Burks / Livers

After yesterday's trade.. Is it just me, or all our centers very similar? Duren and Nerlens? Stew and Bagley aren't shooters, either.

This time, I'm just going to breakdown the minutes between guys I WANT (not the rotation we'll see), but I know Nerlens Noel is another "Weaver guy" from OKC (just like Diallo) and so there must be something he knows about him, about the fit. Maybe it's just a rental, and play the year out, see how it goes, then make a decision when it comes.. The one negative thing about these 1+1 deals are some guys will play for contracts, but then we know not to sign them, lol... Team first! You get paid better anyway if you're winning. Even guys who barely played who win a title. Even years later, just for that influence. Guys probably pay more attention to someone who wins a title who had a role, like Gary Payton Jr.

Cade - 35
Bey - 30
Stew - 28
Ivey - 26
Diallo - 24
Burks - 22
Hayes - 20
Duren - 18
Livers - 13
Bagley - 12
Olynyk - 12

We have more depth, so Cojo might finally sit on the bench, and if we need him, we know he can shoot, he has great leadership qualities - always communicating. Veteran presence. And we know McGruder is a tough guy, well-liked and respected, and can come into a game after not playing for a month, swish 3's, play good D, make good decisions - he just isn't great at any one thing, though. Another good veteran presence. In the near future, I'd like stronger personalities - like a Pat Bev
