Still have a full board of 4's we can sign that are light year's better then Ariza and maybe even find a sleeper who's offense is more plausible then Tucker's was. I'll gamble on a Kyle Anderson and Thad Young duo.

The Raptors traded a pick for Thad Young to get his bird rights. Then you factor we are penny pinching with PJ, it seems highly unlikely we can get Thad. Now if it's an offer they can't refuse sure they will take it. The Raptors did fleece us in the Lowry deal, that was straight up robbery.

We essentially could use the full MLE 10.3 without signing Tucker. We can get a viable option for that amount.

This of course would require Spo to adjust his coaching philosophy and actually devise a scheme based on personnel rather than trying to force feed his smallball gimmick

I don't think Yurt is the ideal 5 you put with Bam. Need to find a true stretch 5. Bamba is a true stretch 5.

I'd love Bamba on this team. Is it feasible? Would we have to sign him or trade for him?

Not sure how feasible it is but draft picks talk. Would take Duncan and at very minimum a pick and a swap to make it worth while for the Magic.

They'd almost all be stop-gaps, but some potential 4s who are either free agents or could be acquired for ~Robinson (in no particular order):

Harrison Barnes (trade)

Rudy Gay (trade)

Montrezl Harrell (FA)

Larry Nance Jr (trade)

Gallinari (trade)

Otto Porter (FA)

Kyle Anderson (FA)

Thad Young (FA)

re-sign Markieff Morris

Serge Ibaka (FA)

Trey Lyles (trade or FA)

Hachimura (trade)

Honestly at this point I'd go all out for Marcus Morris and sign Markieff to back him up. Going into the season with the Morris bro's at the 4 is not the worst thing that's for sure. Marcus Morris is a huge upgrade at the 4.

Are you Watchouts cousin?

It’s infuriating. I come here for fair and accurate reporting, and I have to sift through troll post after troll post just to find a few crumbs of semi-accurate info, and even then it’s mostly stale news or pie-in-the-sky nonsense. This place is a festering cesspool of Millsap rumors, fake Lowry fat-shaming articles, and decades-old tweets recast as recent events. Ridiculous.

Anyways, any word on whether Pasllim Luap is signing with us?

this is interesting. if so, it’s likely 1 part of a bigger deal. i don’t think you move Duncan’s salary (ability to take in $) simply as a dump. Duncan’s contract is vital to any move that allows a larger salary return. rerouting is contract in a 3-4 team trade is absolutely viable if Miami is cooking something.

Trevor Ariza wasn't an offseason move. We sent Meyers Leonard and a 2027 second round pick to OKC mid-season.

That all depends on what you think of Precious and whether Precious was gonna contribute to a deep playoff run in 2022 and for how many years Jimmy has left as a viable #1 option in the playoffs. Dragic, the other part of that deal was playing for Brooklyn in the playoffs. It aint a fleecing unless Precious becomes a star as some undersized 5 for them. The way they are currently constructed that is his only path to starting and they might have interest in Ayton.

Bring back Luke Babbitt and Mike Doleac. Super versatile power rotation that can literally do it all

Does anyone have the Pompey pay wall article on what the Sixers need to do in order to sign Tucker to the deal? Did they mention Heat S&T? I need details.

Because they dont have the room to sign Tucker.

Whether it is with the Heat or other teams, the Sixers will have to move a contract or two before signing Tucker to the deal being reported.
