Considering Jalen Brunson himself was a 2nd round pick this just feels like a massive overpay when you factor in the 1st round pick and 6 second round picks plus what he will get paid man it’s a lot

We still can go over the cap and use these deals in a salary match.

For instance, we can still sign and trade Brunson (24M = 19+5) using Burks (10M) and Noel (9M) contracts as fillers instead of using 24M of cap space. We would expand the deal with Dallas agiving the players in a 3 team deal to Detroit (that can absorb the players in cap space).

We can still use Kemba salary (9M) adding with Cam salary (6M) and using both as fillers to get a 15-20M player. DMurray costs 16,5 for instance.
