Is Tampering over now?

Post#1 » by bongmarley » Wed Jun 29, 2022 11:09 am

Miami and New Orleans got fined last year for tampering yet NY signing Jalen Brunson and Clippers signing Wall is already reported with the dollar value and everything.

Now I could care less Tampering rules are a joke but does this mean there are no tampering rules anymore?

We know how much money would be guaranteed in PJ Tucker's Sixers contract right now...

If you hire the player's dad as an assistant coach, is it tampering if he talks to family? There's no way to find out. You can't prove it.

How did they prove Miami and New Orleans tampering?

Yep it's over. The NBA showed clear intentions and after teams saw what happened they did stop. Rules and penalties worked, tampering is now a thing of the past.

NBA is a joke when it comes to enforcing tampering

It's only tampering if you get caught, so don't put anything down in text, email, Twitter, telegram, Facebook, Instagram, Whatsapp, Signal, Viber, Gchat, WeChat, Line, Skype, Snapchat, Discord, BBM, Zoom, Zalo, Slack, MXiT, ChatON, Trillian or IRC and you should be OK!

I think they proved it because NOLA called the league and complained. The problem for the Bulls was Ball was announced like 2 minutes after the FA started. Same with Lowry.

What is going on this year is very odd no doubt... The wrist slapping of last year isn't discouraging anything this year...

Reminds me of the tanking stuff. Cuban says somewhere on TV or radio that it miiiiiiight not be the best idea for the Mavs to win too many games, gets fined for that. Five other teams play a rotation of 7 not even G-League players, nothing happens.

If the criteria are so vague, get rid of the rule. Or define better criteria.

The Sixers blatantly tampered with James Harden last year and were not punished for it.

That was nothing compared to the AD trade. If there was anything that was blatant, that was it.

I'm pretty sure clippers have talked with John Wall already, so no. (Not that I care) but to say it's over is foolish

All teams have to do is wait like an hour before calling the league and they will be good.

God willing. This dead period after the season ends is silly.

Yes they got fine for it but Dallas used analytics in reverse (closed games and gave most minutes to their worst lineup on the floor) which they were able to gain luka.

Chicago that same season was warned for NOT playing Robin Lopez. I’m convinced NBA does not want Chicago to succeed in the post season anymore.

If the Bulls do, you would be complaining to much to ever hear it.

NBA fan logic we need to trade one of two best players because (Player X) one needs to shine more.
