Max offer is 4/48. If I'm not mistaken, would look something like this:

10.6
11.5
12.4
13.4

This is exactly what I would expect it to be and I'm happy with it. I think it's a steal. 4th year will be PO too.

Between Bobby on this deal, Allen, and Bropez, we've actually got some ammunition for a splashy move should we choose to go that route.

Something by the deadline? I have this sneaky suspicion that's on the table (especially since both Lopez and Allen are expiring, friendly deals).

I'm not missing that. I've read multiple articles stating that despite that he's a non-bird RFA. I don't know exactly how it works, but I wouldn't be surprised if bird rights from one two way to another don't carry over (he first signed for 2 years, then for 1). And besides that, the Clippers are just as hard against the tax as we are. They could make a business decision to let him go, too.

I'm fairly certain here. Bird rights accrue in the same fashion as standard NBA contracts. Ie. Three service years equals three bird years and full rights. The same would be true about a player on a standard contract signing a two year deal and then returning on a one year deal with a team. They carry over in the same manner and the conversion from two way to standard is inconsequential.

Not saying they won't let him go regardless.

I could see this case being buried somewhere in the fine print. He's also hitting RFA for a second time. I know two way contracts count towards bird rights and years in the league, but maybe consecutive two ways with the same team don't? Otherwise could also be that multiple articles are wrong or one copied from another.

For what it's worth, spotrac lists him as non-bird. I've found them to be accurate most of the time.

From what I remember Horst threw in the Horst Special with a player-option after the first year. I could be wrong.

Bobby on 4/$40 has always been the way. Handshake deal.

And who knows, maybe he'll get some good hedge fund investment opportunities in the years ahead.

The reports that the Bucks are talking to the Knicks about D. Rose are weird. The only matching salary we have is Lopez and I am not trading Lopez for Rose.

I don’t think there is a real report of that. I think it all came from a fake tweet. We do know we’ve been interested in the past though.

Hill & Grayson works too. I don't think I'd do it but I get why some would

I suspect neither of these guys would be worth it for the Bucks if only given the health concerns.

However that'd depend on who else we could be looking at using the tpmle on...as well as how cash-conscious ownership is insisting we be.

Otto Porter Jr. is expected to receive multiple offers for the taxpayer mid-level, putting his future with the Warriors in doubt.

Victor Oladipo is not expected to return to the Heat and is said to have interest from Washington, Denver and Detroit, in the salary range of the taxpayer MLE.

I would take Otto Porter Jr. in a second on the TPMLE. Oladipo wouldn't be my 1st choice but I wouldn't hate it

Bucks have interest in Oladipo, don't think they'd use the entire tpMLE, though.

Oladipo would be a nice addition given his two-way ability and ball handling.

If he holds up they wait to the deadline to grab a wing for the playoffs using Hill and/or Allen.

We've been linked to him in the past. Any new info on that front?

Oladipo has been tied to the Kings this offseason but if the Bucks were to offer him a significant role he might be willing to brave the winter if only as a short term investment in himself.

Whether that'd be worth it from our perspective is another question. How do we think he looked for the 8 games he played for the Heat?

During the playoffs Oladipo was a big-time chucker, who was tossing up brick after brick. He still thought he was the 2018 Indiana version of himself. He's not.

I could see him wanting to go to a bad team where he can chuck and maybe get another big contract next season.
