Mitchell Robinson Likely To Re-Sign With Knicks On Four-Year, $60M Deal

Post#1 » by RealGM Wiretap » Wed Jun 29, 2022 12:17 pm

Mitchell Robinson is expected to re-sign with the New York Knicks on a four-year deal worth approximately $60 million, sources tell Jake Fischer of Bleacher Report.

Robinson averaged 8.5 points, 8.6 rebounds and 1.8 blocks in 25.7 minutes over 72 games with the Knicks this past season.

Robinson was selected 36th overall by the Knicks in 2018.

I guess that at this price there would't be better options on the market. Good minutes coming to Jericho Sims next season and maybe for Randle playing as a center

Too much for an oft-hurt big with no offensive game. You can get 90% of what Mitch provides for much less money

I'd like to see them try to trade for Myles Turner at center, could help to cover for Randle on D and add spacing the team will need on O.

As usual - Knicks overpaying :
* he is Injury prone
* he has zero offense outside of 2 feet ( has never improved his offense )
* No go to move
* Horrible free throw shooter
* Offensive liability ( teams play 4 on 5 on offense )

2 better much options in the market :

* Mo Bamba
* isaiah hartenstein
