And the first year he is given a chance to start he shows skills that would compliment next to Adebayo well with the outside shot and blocking. He has the physical tools to improve defensively especially under the great developmental staff the Heat have. A lot of Magic fans already formed their opinion of Bamba prior to this year and once people have a concept of a player in mind they will cherry pick plays that highlight the already assumed traits be they positive or negative.

Yeah one Magic fan did say this in response to the Mavs fan and I do believe the same would apply to us:

He has some upside in offenses where all the thinking is done by someone else (like your team), and there is good perimeter defense to channel players into him. (you have some upside there).
For us he is basically useless imo.

Yeah, I think the magic fans be tripping, since they want to see more of their new toy in Banchero. Here's what Bamba did against Embiid this season

Obviously 16-18m is out the question, what kind of deal would bamba get and is it worth pulling the trigger for?

Not hot on Bamba

Too rich for a guy who will be cheerleading on the sidelines during any meaningful 4th quarter minutes.

Why do you think that’ll be the case?

I think he'll be great in the one weak point of our zone, where opposing players get down the middle for layups/dunks. Imagine Bamba waiting at the rim

Bamba could help space the floor tremendously and move bam to the 4. He also shot 78% on free throws too so.

I agree, I’d even like to test out a 3-2 or an1-3-1 with him at the top disrupting things with his 8 foot wingspan. Think Jimmy and Bam would be getting a lot of steals of high passes in that scenario

I’m assuming 10-13m would suffice for Bamba

People have been comparing Mamba's potential role to how Meyers was used when he was on the team and I dont really recall Meyers getting meaningful 4th quarter minutes.

I'd have to go back and look, but I dont recall Olynyk playing a whole lot at the end of games either.

The number that's being throw around to sign Bamba at is much higher than what either Meyers or Olynyk got.

Juice isn't worth the squeeze, imo.

I've got my eyes peeled like a ripe banana. I'm ready for a 7 team trade at this point.

Whatever happens if it's big then it's true. If nothing happens then it's not true. Simple.
