DLO in the playoffs: 12ppg on 33% shooting, 8 PER. The playoffs before that he averaged more shot attempts than points.

Fortunately for the wolves he's an expiring contract at least.

We need to stop sharing the NBACentral tweets. They list their source as Matt Moore, who basically mentioned the Wolves have been shopping D'Lo is a little free agency roundup article. We have a ton of legit primary and secondary sources for NBA intel so do we really need to be starting topics to share info from a guy who read a guy who knows some guys who told them something? That's what this twitter account is, just a low-tier aggregator with a lot of followers.

D'Lo being shopped isn't new news. It's been said since we lost in the playoffs. I'm higher on D'Lo than most Wolves fans, but would happily move on from him for value. It seems to me though, that trading someone who just flamed out in the playoffs isn't the best way to get peak value.

Russell's brain malfunctions everynow and then for stretches and he plays awful. When he's playing well, he a very good decision maker who is strong on and off the ball. He was by far our best crunch-time player all season. He's a lot better than he was in this years playoffs. But I can't explain away his random brain farts that legit hurt the team.

With Brunson, fvv, etc getting 4/100+, dlo probably asked for a 4/120+ type extension and thinks hes giving the wolves a discount.

I feel like the answer to any team who’s looking for an expiring contract is Charlotte. They traded the 13th pick for a worse first round pick and a bunch of second rounders. I’m pretty sure Hornets would move Hayward and Plumlee for Russell, hell they might even throw in a pick!

I agree, I know this is the internet but even we should have higher standards than NBACentral tweets

The Warriors took him on as a potential trade asset. The fact that the Wolves actually thought he was a building block is just tough to see. There will always be those organizations though. Knicks/Wolves/Kings, etc. Just ran by completely clueless individuals for decades.

He was a complete disaster in the Grizzlies series. He's a good player, but he's just not consistent enough to be even a no.3 on a championship team.

They should trade him for Harrison Barnes AKA discount Wiggins.

Maybe that's why he never made it in California?

Trade him to ATL, they could use another shoot first point guard.

The deal should be for Malcolm Brogdon. I am not a big fan of Brogdon, but he's better than D-Lo and Pacers get the salary relief.
