I think the rules on S&T changed. Wouldn't Ayton only be able to get a four year max on a S&T?

Ayton is interesting and I dont know what he's actually worth

but the fact that the Suns won't pay him max, and probably no one else is (or we would've heard rumors by now) probably means the dude isn't worth max.

So why would we offer him max? seems like a classic mistake of bidding against yourself.

that said, if we can s&t for anyone that would involve shedding Fournier or Randle its a deal we probably should be making
