If we are the favorite for Crowder that means Duncan is going to the Suns and we are dumping his contract. I’m good with that. Lets run it back 2019-20 style with Crowder.

This is the Sun we are talking about lol. They won't spend money to keep Ayton but are going to take on Duncan

Duncan makes around 17 mil
Crowder makes around 10 mil and is an expiring

I'm all for grabbing John Collins. If we end up with only scrubs signings this off season again, I'm gonna snap.

Maybe a 3rd team that absorbs Duncan's contract? then we give a future pick to the Suns.

Honestly who? We tried to get the Rockets to take him and they said no. We tried to get into the Spurs Hawk trade and they where like Nah according to the reports. What team is out there looking at Duncan saying let's get him? It's more like we will need to attach an asset to move him. For example with the 17 mil he is making, we could resign PJ and Diopo, instead we have Duncan who couldn't even get off the bench in the playoffs.

Did you not see i included Craig’s contract of 5.1? And maybe if they ask for Yurtseven to replace Ayton? Duncan makes 16 compared to the 30 or more Ayton is about to get. If we are the favorites for Crowder then obviously the Suns are interested in Duncan or how else do we get a deal done here Sandler?

James Jones is in the front office for the Suns. I could see them working something out here that compensates the Suns for taking on Duncan. Yurtseven would be a great fit for the Suns if they lose Ayton. Basically they swallow Duncan’s 16 but get Yurtseven at 1.7.

Crowder>>>Tucker

Crowder was ice cold here and fit perfect in the system, should have never let him walk to begin with

I like Yurt, I think he’s great tradebait for us and an asset. I just don’t see Yurt playing here with anything beyond a 15 minute bench role with what Spo does defensively. Whiteside had the potential at one point to defend on the perimeter that never materialized, I think that’s the closest we will see Spo get to a true center having a large role for us

Crazy how he’s only 31 too yet some are calling him washed while we just rehabilitated a 37 year old’s value lol. Crowder also a Butler fave.

Yep, we got a lot of good trades with the Suns in the past. Dragic trade, Shaq and Marion trade.

I think both orgs respect one another for these transactions.

I'd love Crowder back. We should have made him a priority a couple of years ago.

Not my sweet baby Yurt :(

I like getting off the Duncan deal, but don’t like losing Yurtgod and I’m meh on Jae. Even if he’s 5-6 years younger than PJ I don’t view it as an upgrade per se.

I hope so but honestly doubt it. Ayton option is the same price as Duncan, they would rather Ayton take that and get one more year of him. Who else has the cap space to max him out at this point? Maybe a sign an trade for Dipo to get Crowder back here, that way Dipo gets his money and we get an expiring. Remember the Suns are know for being cheap.

We could also be signing one of the cheap backup C on the horizon Robin Lopez, Dwight, etc. Maybe the Heat FO is fine moving Yurt as long as we get rid of Uncan's contract along with it.

Good long standing history with the Suns making deals and like I said Jones still respects the heck out of Riley. James Jones should also love bringing on Duncan as a one dimensional 3 point shooter himself lol. No but honestly Yurtseven could be the real prize for them considering there need at Center. Omer had himself a nice little audition against them last season
