I think the rookie center we got in camp is going to be a decent find and if you add Hartenstein to the addition of Hardy and the return of Hardaway weee have the beginning of the three H's

Should we pursue someone like Dipo or Schroeder if Brunson bolts?
Psychotic. It didn’t make sense. I don’t know how you make it make sense

Any interest in Luka Garza (young skilled big)? Pistons declined his option in order to be able to take on Nerlens and whoever else they got from NY.

No brainer for me. What will it take to acquire Luka Garza? Double-Double machine!

McGee is looking like a no brainer with Kidd having coached him in LA. If Kidd okays going after JaVale I would snag him with what we can offer since Hartenstein is rumored to be Orlando bound.

GPII is looking for 10M per. I think it's a bit overpaid. GPII has yet to become a fine 2-wayed players. GPII passed up shots a lot even if it's completely opened. While GPII is a lot smarter and impactful than Delon Wright, I think GPII's asking price will drop to TMLE when time goes on.

Hartenstein seems available. LAC drafts a big in 2nd round and re-signed Zubac. Blake Griffin likely join LAC. That's an opportunities to the Mavs. Hartenstein could be more a long-term piece than McGee.

Omoruyi, a small ball Draymond clone, deserves an active roster spot last season. But the Mavs only gives a TWC and eventually waived Eugene. That's a situation I don't understand. Indeed, Wood deserved a contract but the Mavs opted for Ashley for camp invitee a couple of season ago. That's head scratching.

From what i heard he had a season ending injury anz thats why they cancelled the contract so they could get a new 2way. But who knows. Would love him back. Were the only positive thing last fall

Really hoping we don't sign Dragic, would much prefer Patty Mills who'd provide more consistent shooting off the bench. Would love to see us try and get JaVale too. His energy and size off the bench would be a great addition.

If possible, I'd like to add Bobby Portis so Powell and Kleber can retire soon. Portis + Wood is a very good center rotation that can last you the next 5 years.

On the cheap I don't hate it but it does feel a bit like Dragic ship has sailed.

Most interested in guys like Sexton or Poeltl via trade

Rich Paul wont accept 10M because Lebron needs a cut and he needs to take Adele out on expensive dates.

Most Rich Paul clients are still undecided now for this reason. Lavine, Miles Bridges, Sexton etc.

I think standing pat while the Brunson number inflated is a sign that Mavs FO will take a conservative approach this offseason, especially considering their cap situation. The Wood trade will likely be the most exciting move they'll make until the trade deadline. That approach worked well for them last year and it will be interesting to see how this team will shape into form with THj coming back and having a pretty substantial upgrade at 5. One or 2 small deals in FA and maybe a surprise emerging during Summer League. If they can find another Bullock-level player for the TMLE, it won't move the needle much until they're playing for PO seeding.
I know it's not ideal for the RealGM commentariat, but I'm interested to see how this squad looks through the first half of the season. No reason not to trust Nico can take advantage of a team like ATL or CHI deciding that they're sellers by the ASG.

Btw. Goran is looking great against Croatia.
