Re-watching the Tatum Game 6 performance and it probably should also be noted that Hill caught way too much flak for his defense as well. Half those shots were just Tatum pulling up off the dribble or jab-step 3's and it didn't really matter who was contesting (Giannis, Brook, Grayson all took their turns). The bigger issue with George is that he was an absolute zero on offense. 5 FG attempts in 76 total minutes while making only one shot (an open corner 3) is almost impossible to imagine.

Fotis somehow can't fathom that not every GM move works out perfectly and not every coaching decision is a master stroke.

I'd trade him for Crowder in a heartbeat
I'd rather just waive him. **** Crowder.

Re: Bucks News, Trade Ideas, Transactions - Bobby Ops Out
I think any analysis of the Bucks defense has to be viewed thru two lenses. One is how good is the player at guarding his man and second is what kind of defense is the coach asking them to do.
The problem with Allen is that he isn't a very good individual defender, but is passable if he is asked to guard a non-elite player. But he is not playable if he is asked to be in a switching defense.
The Bucks are in a a conundrum. Bud loves the drop defense (HINT-I DON'T) and that is the type of defense Brook and Allen can play. But if Bud went to a switching defense (which he did for parts of the playoff), those two can't play. Carter would have been much better at either defense than Allen, but Bud wanted Allen's alleged better offense on the floor.
The Bucks should be going to either a full blown switching defense or a work hard on an aggressive hedging man defense. In case of switching, I do think Bud is handicapped because he doesn't have a lot of switchable players (Giannis, Jrue, Maybe Khris but he had a bad defensive year). That's why a guy like Beauchamp makes sense.
I'm a defense first guy so I would have played Carter more than Allen, despite his height issues.

Not giving up an asset for Jae Crowder and his douchebag personality. Just send Sacramento Hill and Rayjon Tucker for Justin Holiday instead.

Do we have any realistic names that we've actually been connected too? I've only seen JaVale McGee thus far.

Did I miss something that specifically links Crowder to the Bucks? Absolutely love him. Those objecting: Why exactly? He makes tough shots and sticks his nose in it on D — even if he does have a reputation for flopping.

Some of the shots Tatum made in the second half of that game were ridiculous. It just so happened that in a close-out game, Gianni went full-on God mode and Tatum went toe-to-toe with him to play the best game of his life. I also remember the Celts going bananas from three in the first half to basically keep the game deadlocked even though they couldn't get one basket in the paint.
If literally any other player on the Bucks had even a below-average but decent game the Bucks close it out and move on to the ECF.
EDIT: I do remember now Pat had a solid game and was the only other player who showed up a bit.

I'd have to question the sanity of anyone who thinks Blake has anything left in the tank after watching him limp out onto the floor in that Boston series. Dude just needs to retire.

Unfortunately for Blake he looked quite washed in that first-round series. If it were last season, he'd be a fine vet minimum guy off the bench but meh.

I would love me some Crowder. But I don't think there are any reports linking him to here...unless he wants to come back and play with Wes and relive the Marquette days.

I only want Crowder and Griffin if we can also get Harrell, Mo Wagner and Lowry.
