Sabonis takes more shots near the basket and has a better FG in these shots.

75% of Sabonis's shots last season were up to 10 feet from the rim (with 66%FG). Only 40% of Randle's shots were up to 10 feet from the rim (with 53%FG).

Sabonis is also bigger and more of a Center than Julius is so makes sense more of his shots came from the post.
