Honestly, I prefer signing Brunson outright and saving trade chips for another piece.

Anyone care to help Macri out by taking a stab at translating this nonsensical gibberish for him?

Trade it all for SGA and if they're not trading him, invade.

I turned it off when he said a neutral front office would have given the picks with no protections. We're not in the position to be trading unprotected picks, let alone ones that far out, only people who want to be mad about something are upset we didn't do that.

If the Utah trade involving Randle and 5 first round picks happens, the Knicks will sign Drummond to make up for Obi's lack of rebounding

If we keep trading back and out of drafts and won't ante up for a 25 yr old all star ascending player at an area of biggest need we have no hope. All we did was take care and prioritize a CAA family member. For the record Murray to me is twice as attractive as DMitch even.

Don’t even care anymore, just put something out there worth watching, and Mitchell is pretty box office.

He used to put more effort on D earlier in his career, so I’m sure Thibs could bring that back out of him. Just hope he doesn’t run him 40mpg because demanding star level offense & defense for that long over 82 games isn’t too prudent.

Prediction:

- We sign Brunson
- We sign a backup big
- We make a trade at the deadline for a playoff push
- We win play in game and advance

SGA is actually someone you may give up a lot for because his upside is tremendous. You could have a guy that can do literally everything on the court with no real weakness in his game and is bloody young on top. For SGA I would consider giving up multiple FRPs.

However I remember OKC asking for like the top pick last year in exchange for SGA and the 6th pick so they'd likely be asking for at least 3-4 FRPs along with 1-2 desirable young players.

Well they weren’t getting Mitchell but now with RR mentioning Randle we know he’s not going anywhere, that’s really disappointing
