And now I have the imagery of sham chain smoking blunt guts with a pb&j and st. Ide’s special brew to wash it down, which I know isn’t accurate.

this image of me always makes me laugh because i've been super healthy for a long time now. how i was in the 90s though is a whole nother story. but no, i don't currently smoke white owls or own a pelle pelle jacket.

I may believe the health stuff, but I refuse to believe you aren't dressed like Jim Jones and don't have a closet full of Karl Kani.

I will say you owning an Apple computer is a culture shock, I was expecting you to be browsing RealGM on a nextel.

sham, i'm so sorry to contribute to this ****. i'm just happy to see you back and well and peach white owl-free!

thanks for everything, thibs.

They dont have to play all 33-34 minutes together. In fact they could be paired only 20 minutes give or take depending on match ups. Also Mitchell can be a good perimeter defender and has a 6'10 wingspan.

If we came away with Mitchell R/Hartenstein (better stretch 5) at 5, Randle/Obi at 4, RJ and maybe Grimes at 3, Mitchell/IQ/RJ at 2, Brunson/IQ/McBride at 1

That would be a very very improved team over last years.

Brunson exposed Mitchell as a lousy defender in these playoffs

Mitchell with Robinson in the paint can focus more on perimeter D which he has the abiltiy to be pretty good at. Also what he brings scoring wise is tremendous.

I don’t think it’d comparable to the picks we own from the other teams. Those things are gunna end up as 2nd rounders, not top 5 picks.

Moot point because there’s no way Leon would’ve passed on his boy for Murray.

And the Spurs didn't want protected picks

If that was really the case, then yea I wouldn’t do it either

Mitchell had 3x DPOY Rudy Gobert in the paint and couldn't focus on perimeter D

People really wanted the Knicks to give up 4 unprotected first round picks for a guy that isn't a superstar type player, and then in 2 years be forced to give him a max contract because of the compensation you had to give up to acquire him?

this... and i LOVE dejounte murray.

atlanta can't even draft or trade their way out of this now. they are officially all-in.

this trade needed to net them... not murray if they were going to get to the next level.

knicks can sign someone like brunson outright, make another big trade, and still not be popped.

i'm just focusing on getting and retaining the right players for once.

People are underestimating how expensive that trade was because they aren't factoring in that nobody trades unprotected picks anymore

PERFECT Scenario:

Fournier in S&T for Brunson

Randle/Rose for T. Harris (shaves 2 years off Randles contract)

Still have $17mi in capspace so if Utah is looking to move one of Rudy or Spyda, offer...

Obi ($5.1mil)/McBride($1mil)/Taj($4.6mil ...Non-guaranteed)/$17mil capspace/pick(s) = $27.7mil
for
Donovan Mitchell $28.1 mil

Brunson/IQ
Spyda/Grimes
RJ/Cam
Harris/MLE
Mitch/Sims
Karl Anthony-Towms

There goes my hero. He's ordinary.

They absolutely would have gunned for the same package from us. The Spurs are going in for a long haul rebuild.

Come on y'all if we gave 3 unprotected picks and a pick swap you know we'll finally win the lottery and won't own the pick. If the hawks mess up in the next few years we'll all be laughing at them

I have a feeling something unexpected goes down in the FA period for the Knicks, I don't know if it's going to be positive but it will be unexpected... a trade, a signing ...just something unexpected.
If you'd rather see your team fail so you can be right
...you are a fan of your opinion not the team.
