Honestly, Brett Brown didn’t an admiral job of building culture during a rebuild. Would make sense for him to take the reigns from Pop now that SA is going full tank mode.

It’ll help too that SA has a functional organization so he wouldn’t need to constantly try dodging stray bullets.

He’s definitely next in line. Now he can take some of the lessons learned here and be even better for SA. He’s a great guy and a solid coach.

Prediction: Trae Young will be the next superstar to ask out. Blowing all their assets on Murray is going to backfire spectacularly and they won't have any path to level up. This is a play-in level team permanently. Guessing as soon as next off-season. Long term, in 2-3 years we might have a play at him to pair with the end of Embiid's prime.

The NBA has already become kind of a joke, but Durant is so bad for the league it's not even funny. It even makes LeMickey look not that bad. What a spineless snake he is.

LeMickey and Cupcake are both an embarrassment. They've made a mockery of the NBA for the last decade. Thankfully their time is up.

My prediction is Devin Booker. They fail to get KD, lose Ayton for minimal return, Chris Paul demands a trade to ring chase, and Book is left holding the bag for the most toxic owner in the league.

Did the Nets give up a 2023 first for Royce O'Neale before or after the KD news? lol

Yesterday the Hawks had all those FRP's plus Collins, Hunter and more to trade, now they have Murray instead.

I wonder if the league is going to force the Thunder to play Dort this year. It's obvious they are going to make up an injury 20 games into the season.

Feels like that JJJ news is really getting buried. Probably the biggest impact to the title race outside of KD’s landing spot.

Tough scene for Dallas losing Brunson, but they made the right move. The Knicks are going to regret that contract, I feel like.

The Rockets own the rights to or can swap picks with Brooklyn in each of the next 5 years:

2023 Nets 1st round swap
2024 Nets 1st rd pick
2025 Nets 1st round swap
2026 Nets 1st rd pick
2027 Nets 1st round swap

And every single one of those picks is UNPROTECTED.

This whole scenario was so predictable. It was always going to end like this, the only question was if they would manage one championship before it all fell apart. It’s just hilarious that the Nets of all teams couldn’t avoid stepping on the exact same rake from 2013.
