Demar/Pat/Terry/Coby/future 1sts for KD?

Why did BKN just trade their 2023 1st for Royce O’Neale? That says they still want to compete and are not blowing it up. Pairing Demar with Kyrie is not a bad option, they would make the playoffs if healthy.

I know ESPN guys thinks Miami/PHX are the lead for Durant, but man I really hope AKME gets this done.

This is a potential career defining moment in Chicago for AKME. I won't be mad he could not get a deal down but I would sure be disappointed.

The thing is, none of the teams KD would want to play on can offer a historic return without gutting themselves, if that.

About that biggest package we could offer without Zach would be:

Ayo
rights to Terry
2023 Portland pick

2026 1st SWAP
2027 1st
2028 1st SWAP
2029 1st

or alternatively

Any two of Vuc, DeRozan, or Lonzo

Yeah I'd think unprotected firsts would be the return they'd want here - not Vuc or DDR. Unfortunate for us since we're short on those.
