How isn't he worth the contract? That's slightly more than Malcolm Brogdon gets, and I expect a similar jump in production from him that Brogdon had when he left Milwaukee for Indiana.

Right now Brogdon isn't worth the contract he's got.

Because he's always hurt.

In his 146 games with Indy he's averaged 19/6/5, that type of production isn't cheap.

OK Leon, your plan here worked. I had my doubts he was going to be able to get this done but kudos to him.

Brunson is a good player and plays the most important position in league today. A position we haven't been able to secure the last decade. He's 25, he keeps getting better, he has a clean bill of health and no character issues. I also think he's built to handle NYC, which is very important. I think Brunson will be good here.

But this cannot be it. Leon needs to cash in on these picks soon. We are still missing that star.
