The irony in it for me….I just landed a job with the Brooklyn Nets Basketball Academy for elementary students three days ago….

Better hope he recruits KD in 10 minutes before you get suspended, pal.

kd is a top 5 player , unless the team gets extremely lucky they aren't likely to get anywhere near this talent ever again . They also have 0 chance at a ring now
Who gives a sh-t at this point?
The original reason why I became a Nets' fan 21yrs ago was because of Jason Kidd, and Jason Kidd consistently led the Nets to vastly better results than these two 'superstar' chuckleheads.
Basketball is a team game, best not involving hopeless narcissists IMO.

You’ve got a corner on 34th Street and Madison to get back on. Get back to work.

KD and Kyrie (and Harden) have been the most unprofessional, least productive star players we've ever had come through here.

This is worse than the Dwill era

Never felt better.
This will be the largest and biggest loss, but and also gain in franchise history.
We bout to hit a lick

Easily. There's no question.

The problem would be mental toughness so it would be good to get a strong personality vet for Kyrie. If they could get something like Lowry and Tucker from Miami for Kyrie plus Ayton and Bridges for KD, that would be a solid team with a pretty bright future to build on. Ayton still has a ton of upside. Amare may help with his aggressiveness too.
If you look at Ayton's FG% from each mid range area, it is elite, better than any C. He also can switch defensively and is pretty versatile. People often say he's spoon fed by Paul but if you just toss it to him anywhere it midrange, he will hit at a very high range.
His TS% of 65.6% considering he shoots 2/3 of his shots outside of 3 ft is pretty impressive. He had the highest FG% in the NBA of players who had over 10 shots. Actually among the best in history, which is crazy given most of his shots were away from the rim, in the short mid range, mid range, or long mid range.
Here is his shot distribution. You can see he has a ton of assisted shots but that's in part because if anyone just tosses it to him anywhere in mid range, he has an elite hook shot from 3-10 ft and a great mid range shot outside of that. Around 59% from 3-10ft, and 55% from 10-16ft. Then like over 46% from 16 ft-to 3 pt range. He will add the 3 too...and was over 39% from 3, albeit on very low volume.
Splits by distance including a shot chart... https://www.basketball-reference.com/players/a/aytonde01/shooting/2022
My biggest concern with him is the aggressiveness. I appreciate his skills but if he's not assertive what's the point of all those skills.
However, since you've watched more of him what do you think his ceiling is and what are his biggest weaknesses that can be worked on?
Also Amar'e left the coaching staff because the work balance didn't fit what he was looking for.

Thats my #1 deal at this point.

Yeah I saw that
I'm fine with Ayton, Bridges, Johnson, 4 1sts/ 3 pick swaps + salary filler for KD.

Jaylen Brown and what? That's not enough to beat out offers from multiple teams.
