If I was on the wizards I'd be doing all I could to get out. I couldn't consciously play along a guy that gets paid more than half a million dollars per game to let people walk by him on d so can go down the other end to shoot again.

See my post. It's ALL owner-driven by Leonsis. He's the worst owner in the NBA. The team will never tank because he said so publicly. His entire strategy is the get two playoff games because that makes them profitable. He's paid the luxury tax once during his entire tenure.

Sheppard has been a massive improvement over Grunfeld (worst GM in NBA history that Leonsis kept in power for 15+ years). Unlike Grunfeld, Sheppard hasn't traded first rounders for win now moves. It is impossible to win with a loser owner like Leonsis.

Well at least he's healthy. Couldn't say that about Arenas or Wall when they got paid.

The guy played 57, 60 and 40 games the last 3 years. He is hardly healthy.... coming off the worse season since John Wall was still suiting up for the Wizards.

I mean the man averaged 23.2pts on 53.4%TS last season with a disatrous 30%3pt on a team that went 35-47 without Russ carrying them in the regular season lol
