I cannot confirm or deny this one, however there was a west team with high profile player which was sent to Miami yesterday to provide a working packet, its in one of my updates. My buddy couldn't confirm, Andy Elysburg took this one over from the beginning.

Ben Simmons solely gets the benefit of extra hype due to being a top pick. Ben is a Bam Adebayo that is (1) weaker; (2) shorter wingspan; (3) more of a 1-4 defender than the 1-5 defender that Bam is; (4) has no discernable offensive ability if he's not ball dominant (and your team isn't winning sh*t if Ben is the main option).

So you're either forcing a point Winslow scenario to cater to Ben Simmons on offense or having a subpar screener that doesn't know how to play off ball as a big man or shoot.

You're showing your ass on this

EDIT: And that's not even getting into the attitude difference (both internally with team and externally around the NBA)

Narrative plays a role with Ben. He's played with one of highest Usg players of all time. In fact the Ben Simmons has had a lower USG% in his last 3 seasons than Bam's. They're at worse similar players where as Bam score mores Ben is a much better playmaker. He has a Career 34% Ast% which is elite.

The attitude part is concerning but the Sixers org is a **** show. Ben was fine a few years ago and now he's damaged goods.
I'm not letting a Ben/Bam swap get in the way of getting an all time great if it was on the table.

I just don't see what Ben Simmons provides an offense when he's not the primary ballhandler. And I don't see most any real contending team winning with Simmons as the primary ballhandler because it limits any other prime scorer from being able to create. It's the whole reason why Justise Winslow (poor man's Simmons) can't find success in the NBA. He's not complete enough at his best offensive trait to demand the ball control and have it result in a quality offense. If Simmons actually took to playing big, I could see the Draymond stuff.

Full disclosure: Ben Simmons is my least favorite player in the NBA (and has been for years)

You should've started with your disclaimer. Putting Winslow in the same breath is crazy if tho you said poor's man lol and Ben is much better than Draymond even in his current role.

This concerns me, this means we may not have been able to fetch Durant without one of the other options and had to send Bam in a trade.
