$104 million to be exact![]()
You didn't answer whether or not Fox / SGA were worth $10 million more per, and also Tyus Jones, a backup is getting $15 million per. If he's better than a backup, and not as good as Fox/SGA, then his per year should fall right between them, which it does.
Derrick Rose makes 14 mil per. Our new starter might not even be an upgrade over the reserve and he’s costing double plus draft picks. Ridiculous
You might as well have typed, “I haven’t watched any Mavs games.”

That is roughly the same cap percentage (19.3%) as the 4/$54M deal Robin Lopez signed with the Knicks in 2015 ($70M cap).
Due to the salary cap rising, that Lopez deal and this Brunson deal have almost the same cap impact.
This is a good deal if Brunson is an above average player. Doesn't even have to be a star (but fingers crossed he makes that leap).
Yes cuz signing Robin Lopez was such a masterstroke for us

It is if your dad is an employee of a different organization; let’s be real.
I really don't think so - just don't discuss numbers and specifics. Just because a father and son work in the NBA for separate teams does not mean that they can't discuss the son's career and what he wants to do going forward.
It's definitely a loophole and an advantage, but it's also common sense. They're literally family, and as long as they weren't hashing out the legal terms and coming to official agreements, I don't believe there's anything enforceable regarding Jalen and Rick (or even Leon, honestly - he's been a confidant and mentor for Jalen's entire life).
I’m not saying they would get caught, but any indication of intent before the opening of free agency is tampering in that situation. The moment his father relays that indication to anyone in the Knicks’ organization, be it a blatant statement of an head nod or wink, he’s acting as an employee of the Knicks reporting to a superior on the status of a pending free agent. That’s tampering lol… he’s not a player; he’s employed by the Knicks and Brunson isn’t a Knick yet. As a father he wouldn’t tell anyone in the Knicks organization where his son is leaning.

Brunson could've definitely started for Boston.
He's not a star but he's an above-average starter.
I don't know if we've had anything that comes close to that since Melo and arguably 2020-21 Randle.

Brunson wouldnt start for Boston cuz their only shtick was no weakness on defense
