Too much demand, not enough supply this summer = Inflated contracts.

Who is available next summer when we have some real money to spend?

We're a team that was a slippery floor away from another Finals appearance and possibly B2B titles. We had no cap space and a late first rounder. I'm not going to get upset over phantom moves that we "should have" made that most likely were not possible for a variety of reasons.

Can't wait for the season to start.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

You think discussions with all teams/players started an hour ago? They've been going on for weeks.

Is everyone signed?

No but can we have some names of eligible bachelors?

Like I can pound my fist saying we shouldve signed Wall or Walker but they went to LA. When a better player signs with a non-marquee location for the TPE....That's when I will get upset that we missed out.

Ingles is a career 41%3 and 60%TS with some edge. I trust him to make the right play a lot more than Dipo who made horrible decisions for Miami in key situations.

I think I'm at a C+ with this offseason. Like the Beauchamp pick, obviously dope that Pat/Bobby are back (Bobby on a reasonable deal too), and Jevon/Wes being back is decent too. Not a fan of Ingles on the TPMLE given age/injuries which drags it down. If they can do anything with Allen/Hill + 2nds or something to get a more playoff ready player I'd bump it up to a B or B+.

I'll be excited (relative to expectations) for McGee if they land him. Dude has a motor and we could use athleticism at that position.

Are we trading Giannis? We are at $145 without Pat, BroLo, and Thanasis

Jrue
Pat
Khris
Giannis
Brook

Bobby/Wes/Grayson/Ingles/Carter/Hill/MarJon/Nwora off the bench

Basically exactly what we coulda/shoulda/woulda won the chip with this year, but added Ingles and everyone's a year older, but they got a 3x longer offseason.

I would highly consider moving Bobby to full time starter over Brook this season.

And the full offseason + losing to the Celtics will have the Bucks on a mission this season, IMO. I feel like Giannis is going to go on an insane run over the next 4 or 5 years where he solidifies himself as a top 5 player all-time, which will probably result in multiple more trips to the Finals for us. That's just my feeling.

if he's healthy he's a wing who can shoot, pass, rebound, defend, and won't tuck-tail in the POs

2020-21 Ingles instead of Grayson and we beat the Celtics in 6.

McGee is less washed than Ibaka so he'd be good depth. Trying to learn from last year and have some rim protection if Brook can't hold up. Still feels like an awkward fit though.

Need more shooting. I had my eye on others, but you can't deny Ingles is a sniper.

Just hope it ends better than Mirotic or Korver.

The (early) internet response from the majority of Bucks/NBA fans have been overwhelmingly positive on the Ingles move. Positive on all the Bucks signings today, actually.

You can say this about the last 4 years, and we’ve only been to one finals. Grateful we won, because otherwise we are somewhere between the 2001 Bucks and the Utah Jazz in the Jordan era.

Bringing back our guys shouldn’t be brushed off at all, that was far from a guarantee. Ingles signing is disgusting though lol, it is what it is at this point but I won’t excuse it. I refuse to acknowledge it as anything other than a favor/salary filler. And that’s not a great way to use an exception.

Still I won’t let that change how I feel about the whole offseason. We’re in the same position as the past 4 season, not the heavy favorites but a solid chance of winning it all. In this age with multiple hofs and mvps on one roster in the big cities, that’s about as good as it gets.

Happy to be proven wrong but McGee's value is more on the other end. He's not much or a defender.
