So they didn’t sign him yet?

Contracts don't actually get signed for a week, the 'agreement' they make isn't an actual contract signing. Although, I suspect the extra activity of Brunson making the effort to meet with the Mavs is just respectful even if he already knows what he's going to do.....and run some cover for tampering accusations.

I hope that if the Knicks don't pass on at least doing their due diligence and repeatedly inquire about Spyda's availability and make enough of a strong offer they are in the running to land him if he is going to move.

Don't let Pat Riley finesse the situation and snag him for a less than robust package without the Knicks trying to get him instead or have Pat pay a steep price to get him.

Gotta love it

Except it's been reported they offered 5-106 which is well below the yearly salary of 4-104

You'll be lucky if it isn't more given the way the Knicks negotiate against themselves.

did we really bid 4/64 for a guy that puts up 8/8 and has shown zero improvement in 4 years?

We are gonna resign him. You don't let him walk for nothing. You either S&T him, or you sign him and look to trade him later. You don't let him walk if you can offer the most money. What are we, the Dallas Mavericks? :D In fact, I would guess the Brunson deal will turn into a S&T.

Don’t got time to sift through all this. Someone quote me and let me know if we linked to any other moves.

If it’s just Brunson & Hartenstein then I’m unmoved. Y’all can spin this schit as some monumental offseason moves if you want to. It’s lateral if you ask me.

How was the Conley/Mitchell backcourt defensively? Both guys are 6’1. If we do go after Mitchell, then our backcourt could look similar to the Utah Jazz of last season

Oh my God bro are yall serious aggo... Lets do this

Mitch was the second best offensive rebounder last season. So don't u think his 8 rebound avg doesn't add up? Is there anyone on the team aside from Mitch that boxes out? Have u seen Mitch be selfish and care about getting defensive rebounds?

Mitch got his 8 points pretty much off put backs and the occasional lob.... WITHOUT a point guard... Now we have two point guards in Brunson / quick. RJ started finding him more and more after learning how to run the offense.

Stop with the 8 and 8 bs it's so off base. He's a defensive monster along with that "8 and 8"
