Just Robinson likely resigned and RJ getting an extension. But this is it pretty much. We ready for that play in tournament baby

Mitch will likely be one of the last contracts the Knicks will announce because of cap rules.

More or less

The only interesting wrinkle is, Brunson hasn't accepted yet, and has reportedly received an offer from Dallas for about 1 million more, but over 1 more year

So there is a chance we're trying to work a sign and trade to send someone, probably Fournier, to Dallas to get Brunson for a little cheaper over longer

But in all likelihood, what we've seen is what we're getting. Brunson for 4/104, Hartenstein for 2/8.

Well in the past I've wanted to leverage cap space for youth and picks check my history. But for this offseason I am firmly in the Dejounte Murray camp. I would of given up exactly what Atlanta gave up pick wise protections and all and a young player on team. His fit and our need was that strong. Instead we overpaid on a player that is almost related to o ur president it reeks

It was a rumor earlier in the week but that was a million years ago by now

It was reported that the most we could offer was 4/54 originally. Then it was reported that they offered incentive laden 4/60 is what I thought I read.

Sounds like you are spinning some schit on others, I don't see anyone making out it's monumental.

Some people may see the Knicks getting a young, efficient and productive PG finally after a very long time as monumental so suggest it's progress, though.

Speaks volumes when your peers show you respect like that. Hopefully he can continue to get better. Wasn't my choice but the fact that he has a strong work ethic helps. Plus other players can focus on scoring. Getting to their spots as Brunson runs the offense

Yea, if the Knicks can flip a deal like Mitch, Cam, McBride and a 1st into Ayton that would shut people, all the medias, the eff up.

Who would be fine with giving up two firsts? Is Ayton worth it? I'm not sure.

My concern would be trying integrate Randle and Ayton might cause too might front court complication so the whole team's chemistry would suffer.

That could limit Ayton's upside as long as Randle is still around.

Top 5 all time GIF for me personally. And I loved it for years before I even knew the story behind it, which, when someone told me after I used the gif, made it even more amazing...and insane.

So....Durant slowed things up with his request. Now you have every team in the league waiting to see if they can get him before they commit to there original plan. The Nets are in full control with that deal. Whoever offers the best package can have him. That's gonna take a lot of phone calls to figure out.

Meanwhile to Ayton still out there. Harden opted out. Plenty of big name moving pieces and the Knicks aren't in on any of them.

I like the Brunson deal. Especially if it can be a sign and trade to move Evan. Then I'm ready to try and enjoy the season. I don't expect much but, I expect improved play all around with the first real PG this team has had in 23+ years. Waiting for the smoke to clear to see what the final product is moving forward. I'd Evan and Randle are both here....meh.

I will feel it’s a guard and wing league. Investing in centers feels so 90’s 2000’s

We raised our floor for sure.

But I agree I need to see an end game...and it can't be just stay patient and wait because the "star" just isn't going to fall out of the sky.

Also they have a concerning roster glut. We can say IQ and Obi are big pieces of the future but they are both plastered to the bench in 14 minute a night roles right now.

What are we doing with Fournier/Randle? Why did we trade for Cam Reddish?

Lot of questions remain
