Beal is a good player. $251,000,000 though? $250 mill wasn’t a big enough black eye?

Seems like neither the Wizards or Beal care about winning.

This is now the worst contract in the nba or at least top 5.

The Wizards aren't going anywhere and this pretty much puts them into the treadmill further. It'll be even harder to trade that contract for value should Beal ask to opt out.

I think this makes Beal the 2nd highest paid player in the NBA (after Jokic). Is he the second best player?

Is this going to be the next Westbrook contract?

way overpaid but can't blame the dude. anyone here would do the same thing without thinking.

only 5-7 players in the league are worth that kind of $$$.

He’s not even the 2nd best SG.

We should be investigated for money laundering. Arenas, Wall, now Beal.

He's also 29 years old and had a down year. But he'll be paid like he's one of the best players in the league. Go Wizards!

John Wall when he finds out that he’s no longer the worst contract in the league…

At the time of his contract Westbrook had an MVP, was regularly in the playoffs, and younger than Beal
Beal wasn't even an all-star last year

I am not a Beal fan. I think this deal is atrocious
