The list I see so far now:

Mitchell
Beal (could he still bolt Washington?)
LaVine (still hasn't signed yet perhaps curiously though it seems he will stay)
Ayton

Lesser likelihood either due to bad fit, a bit old/injury prone or a team not trading with us:

KD
Kyrie
Simmons

Anyone missing on this list?

That list is disgusting other than Lavine. None of those players make any sense for our team in its current state of development.

I still feel like Mitchell will ask out soon. Either this weekend or before the trade deadline.

The thing is though, Brunson and Mitchell isn’t a great fit. Not sure what’s the plan for Mitchell now

Donovan Mitchell is disgusting? He's 25yrs old and already a superstar.

Why aren't they a great fit? You just need to put great defenders at the other 3 positions and they would be dynamic on offense.

Even Lavine isn’t really good enough to push is over any hump… we really need to tank…

You are completely discounting RJ, Quickley and Obi. RJ can easily take another step forward. Obi showed remarkable flashes and Quickley could also improve again.

Mitchell
Brunson
RJ
Obi
Robinson

Has a chance to be very legit.

Not a great fit but for undeniably two supremely talents offensive weapons that ought to open things up for our other guys. Randle plus picks for Mitchell would be nice but it would prob take RJ IQ and picks because Ainge is smart.

I think it would take every single one of our picks that is allowed to be traded for + pick swaps.
If Utah decides to trade him, they are doing it to rebuild. Wont cost too many actual players.

Yeah offensively they fit great. In a perfect world you want one of your backcourt to be a defensive stud, which neither of those guys are. But that's what bench players are for also. If we insist on making RJ a SF then we don't have any advantage at the forward spots either, unless it's the 2020-21 bubble and we have Julius of that year.

It’s not a good fit. The backcourt being that weak defensively puts too much strain on the rest of the teams defense.

We signed Brunson, Leon probably sat back after that and went "job well done, time for cannoli"

Then I assume Aller is out there somewhere trying to find little deals to pitch to him that Leon won't say no to because he doesn't care to actually read them, while Thibs and Perry are arguing over which reclamation project/vet to sign for so long that we're full by the time they're done

I'd be shocked if we did anything big.

I think they are done. Anything else is just the usual baseless speculation for fun.

It’s amazing that a team under Thibs is building one of the worst defensive starting lineups.

It sometimes hard for folks to visualize this so Ill kind of repeat myself in a slightly different light:

A very rough example of what they can do with minutes/rotations/combos (not incl all our players since there is a log jam I think they will clean up):

Mitch 2 /Brunson 1 [18 minutes together out of 48]

RJ 2 /Brunson 1 [10 minutes]

RJ or Grimes at 2/ Mitchell or McBride at 1 [15 minutes]

Other combos (5 minutes)

*Only 18 minutes of Mitch and Brunson together in matchups where the other backcourt is either too tall and/or offensively too skilled. And in this scenario you will almost have at least 1 of them on the court at all times except for garbage time.

Holy cow I just saw pics of Miles Bridges wife. I don't think he will be playing next year.

Randle for Hayward and 2025 top 10 protected or take back all those picks we gave to Charlotte LOL

A smart franchise would offer Randle for Heyward. We aren’t smart.

It's a joke that Knick mgmt structured the Brunson contract in such a way that they can't even S&T Fournier out
