They can. Separate transactions and matching whatever the BYC figure is. Most likely a third team gets involved

I think my dream scenario (barring KD) would be to trade Lowry and Herro for Mitchell, then sign a Jae Crowder type.

I just like the makeup of that team. We'd have to work on Yurt's and Mitchell's defense, but Bam could roam if they're even remotely capable, and our offense would be better. I'd also really like our depth.

Agree with you on this. I have said it before but I think Otto Porter ends up being that guy. I know he has a injury history but he absolutely fits what the Heat would be looking for. 3 and D. Can interchange with Jimmy at the 3/4 position. High IQ. Heat have been interested in the past. Championship experience. Checks all the boxes. Sign him for the Tax Payers Mid Level. You can also keep assets to move to help getting Mitchell or Durant, etc.

New York is looking solid, no star but they're putting together a solid rotation with very few holes in it. Although not a contender still they should be much better and a tough team to beat on a nightly basis. Last year was a step backwards for them, this year seems to be a step forward.
