Is that worth moving Cam or Rose for?

if they remove protections? Sure. Still wouldnt do it but I could appreciate the gamble.

If you guys haven’t observed how our front office operates now i don’t know what to tell you, we are actually doing NBA moves taking advantage of every aspect of a trade, I’m pretty sure we will get value to give Dallas a TPE and trade nothing of value

I have to admit I read the entire thread, including responses and I zero f*cking idea.

Cohen says they could do it but then states Rose or Cam could fetch more individually than the TPE would.

I "think" there's a move where Cam or Rose out means they get the MLE instead of exception.

Is that a reason? Doesn't feel like it. Cam cost a 1st rounder. He has 1st round value. He's paid 10 million. And...the Knicks would move his 10 million (and his inferred 1st round pick value) for the rights to sign a player for ....10 million (the MLE)

Don't understand. Valiant effort by Cohen to unpack all the options, but don't see what it benefits the knicks. To get Brunson another year?

Looks like it would just be to help Dallas out and they can go kick rocks for all I care.

Considering that we have their pick.... there is no reason to give them a useful TPE

Without Brunson that pick is looking better and better.11-16th is my guess.

Give me Hardy if Cam goes to Mavs bro

I think Hardy is gonna get a big opportunity on the Mavs with Brunson gone.. think I’m gonna keep him

There’s no way Dallas doesn’t attempt to upgrade their roster, think Brogdon or Dragic. Luka is so good i doubt they miss playoffs, but i would “help” them to remove protections just in case Luka has a catastrophic injury.

Na I think he's gone by next year otherwise they would've traded Obi by now. They will use next season to re-build his trade value and trade him at the deadline. RJ's contract extension is coming up.

You just named 2 guys that can't stay healthy either to replace Brunson. Love that the fate of the team rides on Timmy Jr coming back as a #2 option

Nah its probably still in the 20's

Dimwiddie
Bullock
Luka
Finney
Wood

With THJ as 6th man and Kleber as a defensive center

That is a really good enough offense in the West which ironically enough is the weaker conference now. I will say this though I actually think the knicks will have a better record than the Mavs if everything goes well. Fournier is the biggest weak link on the team and he isn't a bad player just a bad fit. I think this team could do really well if they stay healthy.
