Not a lock at all. Honestly look at the West this coming year and remember Portland has Dame coming back. Clippers have Kawai coming back and signing Wall. NO has Zion coming back and a full year with CJ. Memphis is going to be better. GS will still be a force. Phoenix will be up there. Lebron won't let Lakers repeat what happened last year. Denver has Murray and MPJ back from injury. Minnesota, Utah, Sac, OKC will all be competitive. Look at that Dallas team as currently constructed and tell me they are better than 8 of those teams.

I don't love the Spida fit with Brunson...but they are all in on this. Brunson/Mitchell/RJ

some combo of IQ/Grimes/Cam and 1st round picks for Mitchell is probably the play.

The only focus should be is trading for Donovan Mitchell. Use every available asset and strike.
He's 25yrs. old. Not even in prime yet.

Yeah, this offseason has been pretty garbage. I don't think the Brunson move is terrible -- at least he's young -- but he's still getting a lot for an unproven player. Reeks a little bit of when the Knicks paid Jerome James for his playoff run. And committing nearly 25 million a year for the next couple years to defensive Centers is extremely stupid.
