He’s redundant with Brunson

He would be cheaper than Donovan Mitchell.

True if we gonna go for broke rather we get the real think tho. Scared money don’t make no money

I think Ainge would want way to much. Nothing reasonable. I see what you’re saying considering Mitchell’s level of play. Another young guy to the roster while keeping what we have is why I would be okay with it.

Mitchell is a superstar and only 25.

Dare I ask what makes him a superstar? :starwars

What has he won? Does he average 30ppg? 15 reb? 10 assists?

Seems like the "superstar" label has suffered from grade inflation.

Superstars are people like Curry, Lebron, Jordan, Shaq, Kobe.

Not sure I'd even term prime Westbrook or Harden superstars, not when this is a league where a guy once averaged 50ppg in a whole season! Now that's a superstar.

And by the way, forget Mitchell and Sexton to NYK, no way we'll have a 6'1"/6'1" backcourt. I doubt anyone in the NBA ever has (or will).

What if we had sexton run the second unit off the bench. Same way the spurs did. His value contract wise has dropped. Him getting hurt set him back. Same happened with Murray. I believe his value will go up. Worst case he shoots you and we can move him for more value

Dunno. He's stuck in Sacramento now, though, and that's as bad a punishment as I can think of for anyone

Sure, but I can't see Sexton himself being content with 2nd unit.

They essentially gave up nothing. I would’ve preferred we went after Brogdon.

And then Brogdon goes on the injured list
