Pretty much they only have Conley, and that deal is far from small, lol.
Beasley + Russell + Prince for Conley + Gobert works in the trade checker.
Would there a better "Big 3" in the NBA next year than Edwards-Towns-Gobert? I'm not sure. I think you can make the case that is the best BIG 3 in the entire NBA. Gobert and Towns are aleady All-NBA. You can envision Edwards making the leap to All-NBA next year.
Conley/Beverly/J-Mac
Edwards/Nowell/Moore Jr
Slomo/McDaniels/Bolmaro
Towns/Vanderbilt
Gobert/Reid/Kessler
I like Clarkson, but I also like Conley. I think he fits well with what we are looking for, (career 38.2% 3 point shooter, 5.6 assists to 2 turnovers per game. Averages a steal per game.) I would be stunned if the Jazz just gave Conley away. I would make that trade in a heartbeat, even if it cost 2 unprotected firsts.
P.S it wouldn’t just be the best big 3 or starting unit. It would probably be one of the best benches in the NBA as well. Top 4 in the west for sure as long as we are healthy.
