GSW losing two key contributors, and a bench piece is why I’m very happy for being able to run it back. The talent we have retained over the past 4 years has been crazy compared to the rest of my bucks fandom.

Brogdon discussion in the ATL thread
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

AJ Green's got that chimney release, straight up over his head, Larry-esque.

If Chad Ford were still penning columns for ESPN, this move would be a lot more exciting.

Wondering what we can get for Grayson Allen in the context of this offseason's spending spree.

As bad as he was vs the Celtics he probably would have gotten an offer for way more if he hadn't done the extension.

Of course the Bucks might want to keep him for these reasons too if it'd be very hard for us to upgrade.

That said, if we think Wes Matthews is likely to beat Allen out in our rotation again, some other team might value him more.

Legler and Perkins love ingles with the bucks. Say he’s their best passer and perfect compliment to Giannis

Bird is the first guy I thought of as well when watching highlights.

I was saying get Coffey and Bagley for the memes but this is better. But for real, Papagiannis has been great in Europe.

We do that too. We lost in 7 against the Celtics and some people here didn't believe that Middleton's absense was such a big factor in the end. We were nearly unbeatable with the big 3 playing at the same time last season.

We are simply not a superteam able to replace all stars midway the post season. Not even superteams can do that most of the time.
As long as we are healthy we will be fine. We have plenty of tools to reach the finals.

If you add KD & Kyrie to the Lakers, and now Boston upgrading, I'm not liking our offseason. At least we kept the guys who contributed, but I was hoping for more.

We already had our "go for it" offseason 2 years ago and it resulted in a Championship. Now we're trying to maintain what got us there while also bringing in small pieces to compliment that. We don't have the assets to go for another splashy move, hardly any championship team ever does.

Agreed. An while it really sucks we can't add a guaranteed meaningful piece, we've got two lotto tickets in MarJon and Jingles.

If MarJon hustles and can give some Tony Allen/Herb Jones defense OR Jingles provides some late career Toni Kukoc magic, we'll have enough. We only need to hit on one of those two scenarios. Not unrealistic to hit on one

I wonder if the Jazz would be receptive to a Hill/Allen/multiple 2nd round picks for Clarkson deal.

I'd also add, most of Horst's most significant moves have been via trade. And now with Allen, Hill, Ingles, Nwora (if he takes the QO) you've got a decent amount of very movable contracts to make the kind of deal Boston just made for Brogdon (although it would probably have to be a multi-team deal since many teams probably can't do a 3 or 4 to 1 trade during the season)

Or KD shoots from one step farther back and misses short, Kawhi's quadruple bounce game winner doesn't go in, there is no pandemic, and there is no wet spot against Chicago. Now you're talking about four-time NBA champion Jon Horst.
