Turner is injury prone and only has 1 year left on his deal. Ayton would be a great piece to build around long term with Haliburton and Duarte.

You gotta feel good for Gary Payton II finally getting paid. He made around 250K last year and just over 2 mil for his career. Dude's been bouncing around forever but you can tell he's a hard worker and he's finally getting to cash in on his efforts. His defense made an impact last year fo sho

Right. That's why Brunson, who is younger and a better creator is a better move for the Knicks
Brunson's actually a week older
But for the rest of it, it kinda goes either way
Brunson cost less to acquire (I view the trading assets to dump contracts as part of the acquiring costs) than Mitchell would, is more of a PG, and is on a cheaper deal
But Mitchell is the better player
Also, my comment was about the Celts trading a first for Brogdon. They're just in a better spot to do so, plus it's very likely their pick is gonna be in the 20s, not 11 like we had or likely low teens if we traded a future pick for him.
BaF Lakers:
Nikola Topic/Kasparas Jakucionis
VJ Edgecombe/Jrue Holiday
Shaedon Sharpe/Cedric Coward
Kyle Filipowski/Collin Murray-Boyles
Alex Sarr/Clint Capela
Bench: Malcolm Brogdon/Hansen Yang/Rocco Zikarsky/RJ Luis Jr.

we've improved a little. But they are still banking on 2 things happening - Randle of 2020 and RJ becoming more efficient. Both are kind of long shots.
I think we'll sniff the top side of .500 baring injuries but that's play-in game territory.
Exactly

Miles Bridges is going to end up in jail. And deservedly so.

My point was Brunson vs Brogdan, where Brogdan is 4 or 5 years older.
I think Brunson hits a spot for the Knicks in not too many assets, was actually acquirable, younger than Brogdan, probably better, certainly provides a need on offense, will grant when Brogdan plays he's the better and more switchable defender

Turner's averages: 12.9 PPG 7.1 RPG 26 years old
Ayton's averages: 17.2 PPG 10.2 RPG 23 years old
it's a no brainer lol

Oh, oops. I don't know why I thought you were talking about Mitchell, I can't keep all these threads separate lol
Yeah, I'd rather we did what we did than trade for Brogdon. Brunson is better than him in most regards except like you say switchable defense.

Re: Leaguewide Offseason Transactions Discussion
That Miles Bridges sht is **** tragic. Hope both of them get the support they need.
It's easy to hate on him through this sht because he is the villain. Idc if he plays again. I just cant imagine what he has been through to do something like that to someone he loves. Clearly shows the man has demons. I hope he suffers the consequences of his actions but also finds healing.

Both together actually would have worked well. I think Brogdon could have been had for Burks, Noel and protected future 1st. Knicks could have looked to move Fournier and Cam to free up the room for Brunson and still done the same things. Brunson-Brogdon-RJ-Randle-Mitch
