ARod and Lore want to make big swings and don’t have a basketball background - maybe this isn’t all on Tim Connelly?

If I'm not mistaken the Wolves have 11 players under contract now. Interested in seeing what comes next.

That really looks good. :D

Now we have space to add bench players ?

Great trade for you guys. Towns as a PF is meh. You should have a strong defense this year

Very steep price......Utah couldn't even play Gobert down the stretch in many playoff games.....how are Gobert and KAT gonna defend the 3 point line?

I have two words for this:

Herschel Walker.

If you're a Minnesota sports fan you know exactly what I'm talking about.
WTF.
Essentially 5 first round picks if you include Kessler, 3 unprotected in the loaded West.
Adding Gobert isnt going to fix KAT and Russell being horsecrap defenders.

I hate being on the losing end of these awful trades.

I'm very interested in this part. How do we fill this team out?

moss_is_1 wrote:I disagree with people saying we gave too much. You guys just aren't realizing how good Rudy is. Those picks should be 20s picks, we have 3 studs that all are at least all-star level, plus we have a lot of good role players and depth. We still have 2nd rounders and can usually buy for more to get decent prospects.

Essentially we are giving up 3 bench players and a solid but not great prospect, maybe 2 if Bolmaro is in this deal?

Do you realize that is what every Brooklyn fan said when the Nets traded for Harden...

Anyways, I do think think Gobert's post-season performances are underrated by casuals due to Jazz's poor perimeter defense...my bigger worry is that Wolves still haven't found their long term PG. I would be maybe ok with this trade if we also replaced DLo

Well, I said we were desperate for a consolidation trade ..?

Honestly though, if Connelly is really good at identifying young talent, this deal creates roster space and minutes to develop players for value on the edges.

probably two of the picks were the price for keeping McDaniels

I am not a fan of this trade but Jazz's problem in playoffs defensively was not Gobert. It was lack of perimeter defense for Jazz. They had the worst perimeter defense in the league and Gobert can only do so much. Wolves have much better perimeter defense than Jazz.

Minott to the main roster is 12. Bi annual exception, I don’t know if our TP for Rubio exception has expired l, and vet minimums.

If Durant gets less of a return I will cry...

I think Rudy is better than Durant when you factor in all the missed games by Durant.

The worst part of this trade is that Russell isn't going out instead of Beverly, Beasley, and Vanderbilt, who all had value as more than salary filler. Gross.

I would imagine so, but that is why you walk away. This trade did not have to happen. Yet, it appears as if Utah has the Wolves over the backside.
