Look how bad we have fallen off begging for Marcus Morris
Underrated player.
He’s an upgrade over PJ, imo.

Re: OFFSEASON THREAD, VOL. REALLY HOT
It seems like we're always in win now mode with less talent than other teams and no draft picks. We win with good coaching and great development to inevitably lose to bigger and more talented teams. It's been this way since LeBron left. Are we always just going to be that blue collar team people respect for the hustle, but never actually wins anything? We did make the Finals and the ECF 2 of the last 3 years, but we didn't win and the window is closing quickly.

Re: OFFSEASON THREAD, VOL. REALLY HOT
Our biggest additions have often been within. So im not worried about who goes where. Im excited about who improves that we already have. Most of our players are not playing up to potential and we did not play our best limping through the playoffs. playing at our top level we would have won the championship this year, bubble year also. We are less of a dumpster team than people think.
1. Herro 2. Bol Bol 3. Seko 4. Bruno
unless we trade up for Barrett or trade down for PJ Washington

Re: OFFSEASON THREAD, VOL. REALLY HOT
More I think about it, the more I think Mitchell is cool with staying. I hope I'm wrong and he wants Miami, but not sure Ainge and Riley do it.
Think about it, if they are gonna trade Mitchell, it makes more sense to trade him before trading Gobert. Now everyone thinks Mitchell wants out. If you have that deal in place for Gobert, go get rid of Mitchell first because now nobody is gonna be giving up as much for a team that wants to rebuild.
Granted if you are the Jazz and you see that offer for Gobert you are taking that and not looking back.

Re: OFFSEASON THREAD, VOL. REALLY HOT
I wonder if the Gobert trade means Mitchell is now officially unavailable.
If so, that would leave Collins, Durant, Kyrie, Randle, and potentially Lillard or Siakam as the biggest names (semi) available.
Miami has, at different times, shown interest in PJ Washington, Terry Rozier, Gordon Hayward, and Kelly Oubre who are all on the Hornets. I wonder if there isn't something to be done there.
Edit:
Given all the forwards Toronto has signed -- and with the glut at forward with Siakam, OG Anunoby, Precious, and Scotty Barnes -- Miami could try to make a deal for Siakam.

Re: OFFSEASON THREAD, VOL. REALLY HOT
The biggest problem for me is I'm not super impressed with our young core. Whether it's Spo or not, Bam doesn't score like a max player. There's too many moments where you forget he's even playing. Herro's game gets exposed in the playoffs. We all know how bad Duncan is now and he sucked on defense anyways. The undrafted guys are good players, but we got the most out of them. They likely have reached where they are going to be. We don't have that guy outside Jimmy where I feel confident I can build around, and even then Jimmy is old.

Unless we can trade for kd or mitchell the upside of the team is very low, can’t believe Barry Jackson doesn’t see that

Either be a capped-out vet team with star power or rebuild.
We'll see what happens with KD. I hope we can land him.

Re: OFFSEASON THREAD, VOL. REALLY HOT
this is why star players who go to teams in free agency, like a KD, should always have no trade clauses in their contract.
so when they want to move on and request a trade, they have to approve the trade. so they have full control over where they go.
why the fk is Brooklyn acting like they spent assets to get KD? he went there for free in free agency.
make the man happy and trade him to where he wants.
KD should have had a no trade clause in his contract when he went to BRKLN.

So is UD really leaving us hanging?? Are other teams still trying to sign him?? Though I don't agree with it, it's obvious that the Heat want him back for atleast one more season, so what's the hold up in announcing it?
