If people think LeBron James is just going to hang out on the Lakers with AD playing 40 games and Westbrook just being a major liability and pray to carry them to the play in at 38 years you are nuts.

This KD, Mitchell and Kyrie stuff is cool but LeBron will be the piece this team adds at some point either this summer or before the deadline.

Celtics did well with Brogdon too. He’s a baller.

Depth chart at guard suddenly looks real nice with Brogdog/Smart/White. Expensive tho.

Herro, Robinson + one more contract to make the money work and picks for Mitchell.
BTW... you can probably buy somewhat early 2nd round picks each year to add talent if you really want to. Ignore the KD dream.

Keep the faith. It’s early.

Yes, lots of players are off the board but there’s plenty still on and plenty of trade options that can still improve this team.

all players should take note of Brooklyns owner and front office right now.

Kevin Durant went to the Nets - FOR FREE - in free agency. He tried.

Now they are seriously backstabbing him and fielding offers when he already told you where he wants to go?

Greedy pricks acting like they spent assets to get him. No big stars should ever go to the Nets until that owner sells the team

It’s their fault for trading for James harden and losing all their picks, now trade the man and be done with the situation.

heatwillbeback wrote:Just disastrous. I would have been happy just running it back with minor improvements. Instead we put ourselves in this horrendous situation. We can’t get into an asset face-off because we don’t have the assets.

And Durant, simple math. You can’t play with Jimmy, Bam and Lowry. It’s not possible.

The only rotation player we’ve lost is PJ. There are quality 4’s still available on the trade market. “Running it back with minor improvements” is exactly what they will do if they cant land a star.

Nice, I don’t give a ****. Send literally the entire team outside of Lowry Jimmy and Bam to get KD and fill the roster out with the most athletic guys at LA fitness and we’ll win championships.

In all seriousness we would have vets flocking to the team and im sure we have some younger guys in the pipeline ready

Beenie wrote:Send Lowry to Dal, a pick to Brk along with salary fillers from both Dal and Mia for Kyrie

Use other stuff for either Collins or M Morris.

Easy peasy

Been saying this since yesterday, just grab the low hanging fruit, in John Collins and Kyrie.

BAM
John Collins
Butler
Olidipo
Kyrie

If not Kyrie, we need to go after these teams with too many guards like Colin Sexton, D'aron Fox, Davion Mitchell, etc..

The teams that held the rights to Harden, Kyrie, Anthony Davis, D.Cousins, PG13, Kawhi, and now Durant all have this in common....They ALL let MONTHS go by and took their sweet time before finally letting those dudes go. These teams go thru different stages of grief when their star ask out. Brooklyn hasn't even gotten to their "denial stage" yet. At some point during this process BKN gonna convince themselves that things will change with him if they can just bring him into camp. And by that time, KD will get fed up and add damn near half the league to his trade destination list. And of course we'll have an extended Herro and some random washed 38yo as our PF.

From a Utah Jazz reporter at that. Nice. We need to be aggressive and we need Mitchell to speak up. The time is now! Stop messing around man, get what you want and come to Miami
