Malcolm Brogdon is the 3rd star I've been asking for. If he is healthy, he is a star in this league.

With that said, we don't need him to be a star. He can come off the bench and play 25-28 minutes a game and rest on back to backs, so he can stay fresh and healthy. With Smart and White, that's a great 3 PG/SG combo with size and skill.

I love Brogdon as a player.

is there any possible way the c’s can move tatum for durant? this is the move i’d love to see as i’ve always viewed tatum as a fraud. durant in tatums place makes the celts favorites to win it all at least for the next 3 seasons. with brogdon and durant being as talented as they are, it’s more important to have the talent/dog combo that brown possesses over tatum who has no dog, and if he’s any better talent wise over brown, it’s so marginal that it’s not noticeable.

A few days ago, Brad said what most of us felt. That this team needs bench scoring and another play making guard.

He added Malcolm Brogdon, who gives us bench scoring and passing and can also start.

He also got Danilo Gallinari, who gives us bench scoring and can also be a spot starter when Al or Rob need a few days rest.

These were two big additions and not only will improve the bench in a big way but will also give the starters fresh legs because they don't have to rush back into the games.

Great job by Brad and the owners of the Celtics to be willing to spend.

2023 first should be in the 20s unless something dramatic and catastrophic happens
2025 first should be in the 20s since DLO contract comes off the books and they have their 2024 pick still
2026 is a pick swap
2027 first should be in the 20s. Edwards will be just entering his prime, KAT in the middle of his plus still have Gobert and others
2029 first COULD be lottery if players have been traded or moved on by then. But it IS protected top 5

Ainge hit on top 3 picks which every G.M. should in solid drafts. None of these picks the Jazz got will get anywhere close to that. Thus the take that the Jazz aren't guaranteed to get much value since Ainge isn't great when drafting outside the top 3 of drafts. Sorry that hurts your feelings.

Lol no that would be Gallinari, considering Poole was a complete traffic cone on the other end but could give them 15-20 mins a night. Brogdon is getting 25+ minutes and an upgrade on White

Yes. But in fairness to Pritchard, Poole scored on almost everyone in the regular season. He averaged nearly 20 a game for the year. But yes, scoring against Smart, Brogdon and White will be a lot harder to score on.
