Why can’t you have 4 ball handlers on the roster, one of which (Pritchard) is a great threat from behind the arc

Pritchard isn't really a ball handler and not much of a threat from behind the arc in the playoffs when teams play defense. That's ok when the team is under the tax and just kind of waiting for the right moment but $4 mil. next season for Pritchard will be very hard to justify.

Pritchard is great

Warren, Okogie, or Rodney Hood at vet min if TPE remains unused. Dieng, LMA, or Ibaka vet min backup big. (Baynes, you good to come back?)

But they really should work in Hauser into the rotation. In regular season at least.

we have to free Pritchard. Agreed. Too much money for someone that won't play much if at all.

I know they don’t want to use the TPE but a quality backup at C or another solid SF type could make this team really special. It’s almost a sure thing RW3 will miss time so I’m worried about the depth at that spot. Even Bryant is pretty meh.

With Warren this team will be inasane.

I hope so. I hope Pritchard is freed and gets to be the #1 option on some team somewhere.

Pritchard is great

In the regular season, he's a cold-blooded sniper. But in the playoffs he did jack.

Anyway, here is how I see the lineups going. Keeping in mind that Ime wants to run a bigger lineup, with everybody switching, ball movement and defense. I also have to keep in mind the job our starters did from Janurary on, and I don't think that Ime wants to mess with that.

Smart, White, Pritchard, Davison (2-way)
Brown, Brogdon, ( )
Tatum, ( ), Hauser
Horford, Gallinari, G. Williams
R. Williams, ( ), Kornet, ( ) (2-way)

Highest Kudos to Brad for the moves he pulled off today. I know that Brogdon and Gallinari have injury issues, but with the depth we have at those positions, and the number of minutes and rest they will get, I am pretty sure Ime can manage it.

However:
I really don't see G. Will being Tatum's back up. I know he played SF a lot, but it is not ideal. I think Brad will get a vet small forward at vet minimum to play that position.
I think Brad needs to get a shooter at the minimum for 3rd team SG.
I am still hopefull that we can get Thomas Bryant to be the back up to Rob. He is a banger and has in the past, before his injury, had a 3 point shot.
I would also like to see us sign Trevion Williams to our last 2-way for more depth, and injury protection.

Unless they're doing hockey substitutions, there is no need to have anyone but Tatum and Brown playing "SF" as the roster is right now.
*When healthy

I agree with that completely, but I still don't think Brad is done. As you said, when healthy, but we all know that players niss some time. I;m also not advocating for a starting calibur player, just a vet back up/ ring chaser for 5-7 min a game where neccessary. Brad could use any of our TPE's and a 2nd round pick to get someone. I still want the team to get Bryant. He would be the rebounder /banger we need behind Rob.

Thankfully, Pritchard is an inexpensive shooter who earned Ime's trust as the year on and is more than likely, not going anywhere. For a young player in his first playoffs to have some struggles is understandable. It's a possibility in another year or 2 they may see a reason not to re-sign him to a larger salary or they could move him at the deadline if they really see an opportunity to upgrade but there's zero rush to move him so he'll get at least one more year.
and that's "MR. Irrelevant" to you!!

It's his second playoffs. Also, he's older than Tatum.

The talent is obviously there but this can’t be overlooked. I think in general the league needs to take a hard line on this after investigation. I don’t think it’s a good idea for any team to bring him and associate with this. I’m not opposed to a lifetime ban if it is all true which it seems like it is. My normal default is to believe the female victim in these situations. I think players with this kind of talent shouldn’t be given a pass for something this disturbing just because they can play. This is a privilege to play in this league. I want nothing to do with this now. If there’s any hope for a second chance for this guy it’s not anytime soon.

One of the best things about the Brogdon acquisition is that Jaylen Brown won't be dribbling the ball so much. He should spend more time moving without it and shooting off the catch.

But you hate him and even when he plays well you get super upset and make a negative thread about how he isn't really good .

Pritchard was fine for 18 playoff games until they got to Golden State. Then he ran out of gas (as did Tatum and everyone else). It's very hard to shoot well with tired legs.
