Anyway, here is how I see the lineups going. Keeping in mind that Ime wants to run a bigger lineup, with everybody switching, ball movement and defense. I also have to keep in mind the job our starters did from Janurary on, and I don't think that Ime wants to mess with that.
Smart, White, Pritchard, Davison (2-way)
Brown, Brogdon, ( )
Tatum, ( ), Hauser
Horford, Gallinari, G. Williams
R. Williams, ( ), Kornet, ( ) (2-way)
Highest Kudos to Brad for the moves he pulled off today. I know that Brogdon and Gallinari have injury issues, but with the depth we have at those positions, and the number of minutes and rest they will get, I am pretty sure Ime can manage it.
However:
I really don't see G. Will being Tatum's back up. I know he played SF a lot, but it is not ideal. I think Brad will get a vet small forward at vet minimum to play that position.
I think Brad needs to get a shooter at the minimum for 3rd team SG.
I am still hopefull that we can get Thomas Bryant to be the back up to Rob. He is a banger and has in the past, before his injury, had a 3 point shot.
I would also like to see us sign Trevion Williams to our last 2-way for more depth, and injury protection.
Unless they're doing hockey substitutions, there is no need to have anyone but Tatum and Brown playing "SF" as the roster is right now.
*When healthy
I agree with that completely, but I still don't think Brad is done. As you said, when healthy, but we all know that players niss some time. I;m also not advocating for a starting calibur player, just a vet back up/ ring chaser for 5-7 min a game where neccessary. Brad could use any of our TPE's and a 2nd round pick to get someone. I still want the team to get Bryant. He would be the rebounder /banger we need behind Rob.
