He will do nothing but get better in those moments...

Pritchard was fine for 18 playoff games until they got to Golden State. Then he ran out of gas. It's very hard to shoot well with tired legs.

How does he get tired playing 10 minutes a game?

Personally, I think POBO nem asked Brogs if he was okay with coming off the bench before the trade. I just think they are smart enough to do that, even if he ends up starting. Chemistry is so important for us and Ime and POBO have mentioned it many times. They aren't trying to pick up anybody they don't think is ready to win, people biting at the bit to do whatever it takes to win. Brogs is 30, oft injured, he's always been talked about as a good guy, there is no way he isn't ready to do what ever is asked in a chance like this. He knows he could have been sent to the doldrums at $22 mil because not many contenders could match that and he has 3y left, he doesn't have the cache to force a better situation AND start.

Assuming that we re-sign Hauser, we have the following 12 players signed:

Smart / Brogdon / Pritchard
Brown / White
Tatum / Hauser
Horford / G Williams / Gallinari
R Williams / Kornet

Feels like we absolutely NEED to sign one more big and more wing. Then the 15th spot you either go ball handler (if you really want to keep Pritchard off ball) or another wing (if you think Pritchard is a ball handler for you going forward).

Our insistence on making and keeping Smart the PG, even after acquiring Brogdon, is concerning. Smart is still going to be getting late game minutes and his three point shooting will still be deciding games. Having a guy making $23 million sitting on the bench is not going to make sense. And if they DO sit Smart he'll start whining about it and that will create a locker room divide. I don't trust Ime to balance this effectively. That's why on paper these moves seem perfect but might not be great in actuality.

Miles Bridges has been one of my absolute favorite young players and would have loved to see him in Celtic green.

I'm having a hard time believing he's become such a scum bag.

Question: If there was a way that he could become a Celtic on a two year contract under the condition that he accepts professional help, would you do it?

No. Get over your fandom, this is serious.

One of my other favorites to sign is Richaun Holmes. I sure know how to pick 'em.

But I am serious. I've been a counselor in these situations. I want these guys to heal and not throw away the amazing opportunity they've achieved. They are young and it's not too late to learn and change. It's hard to break the stigma though.

I’d say wing and big. Could see the big being a project like T. Williams potentially. Or a Dieng/Bryant/Gibson but they wouldn’t play much.

I’d like to see Hauser get a shot so a steady Eddy type of wing makes sense to me.

That's not a bad Payton replacement. Donte will fit in well there I think.

Nothing. I believe that the message being sent through the media is that the TPE will expire because they don't want to pay the tax bill associated with taking on the salary.

Brogdon was already our TPE acquisition without using the TPE.
