This dude sounds like Chappeles impression of Tiger Woods at the racial draft lol

Just brilliant by Stevens. We have Our top 10 is stacked. Allows us to sign Hauser and JD Davidson or bring over Begarin or Mader on rookie deals.
Juhan and Hauser for me personally.
Juhan has HUGE potential. Kid's a freak.
Love Brogdon, just really hope he can stay healthy.
Good assessment:

Hell yeah!!!
Nice job Brad! Brogdon is just perfect here.
He probably wouldn’t start, but definitely get starter minutes and finish. Death lineup of Smart, Brogdon, brown, tatum and Rob/Al is the bomb!

It's probably safe to assume shorter minutes than he's played in the past.
He is still fairly young at 29. I just wish he’s past all those nagging injuries he’s had. I had him on my fantasy lineups, and he’s mostly in and out, but really really good when playing.

Re: Welcome to Boston, MALCOLM BROGDON
Brad nails it again. Doesn't waste time, no overthinking and immediately pulls the trigger. And gets us the best available floor general the market was offering.
We got a quality injection with this trade, added a legit floor general we really lacked. I think that we can compete with the Bucks now. The Bucks would've won 2 rings in a row if Middleton staid fit.
Now if Brad can nail that TPE then we should be the favourites on paper to win the east.
Brogdon, Smart, Brown, Tatum, Rob
Pritchard, White, Gallinari, Grant, Horford
That TPE has to be a good player to become a rotational player on this roster. Probably sacrificing Grant or Pritchard's minutes. Dont know if i like that.

I'm already excited for next season. With the additions of Brogdon and Gallo, we're already better than our team last year (that was 2 games away from the chip).
To add the additional experience of the Jays and Smart, who I expect will improve even more this off season.
LET'S **** GO!

I would've traded White for Huerter, that would've been so balanced- defense/offense.

Re: Welcome to Boston, MALCOLM BROGDON
Wow. What an acquisition. Brogdon is a perfect fit on paper, and we didn't give up any of our young core for him.
The issue is his injury history, and we have to hope he plays at least 50 games for us. But we have a lot of depth at guard already.
I also wish we could get a tough-minded, enforcer-like player as well. The Warriors talked trash and disrespected us in the Finals all series long and we didn't bark back because it's just not in our guys' nature. Maybe like a Morris or Tucker, but they're unavailable now. Just inject some nasty into this team.

I don’t know about Boston being the favorites. But Brad is the favorite for Exec of the Year. Amazing team.
Just imagine having Brogdon, or even Gallo, during that last series.
My guess is that Pritchard gets traded. I love PP and think he develops into a very good player, but with Smart, Brogdon and White in the PG rotation there is less minutes available for PP now. So moving PP and other chips for a big man backup for R Will is what I think happens next.
Sydney Kings 3-peat NBL Champions of Australia going for a 4 peat!!!

Re: Welcome to Boston, MALCOLM BROGDON
Like the player and the trade in the vacuum.
In context, the trade is an unsettling referendum. We traded a whole lot for Derrick White, and just used the rest of our trade flexibility to get a guy to do his job for him. Not sure how you go about acquiring a big man now. The PBO is going to have to find a diamond in the rough.

Ok just want to keep these high level players.
Not at all worried about playing time.
Hoping for a 98 game season.

Re: Welcome to Boston, MALCOLM BROGDON
He’s such a great fit next to the Jays. Becomes the best player on the roster day 1 on high pick and rolls and trading the defense. Also a knockdown shooter off catch and shoot and will get so many open looks. Great driving ability.
The fact not one rotation player was in the deal is insane

Re: Welcome to Boston, MALCOLM BROGDON
I think a back up big is the only piece missing. We can’t expect Rob to play a lot of games, AL should be on mins restrictions, and Grant is too small and can’t protect the rim. We need that insurance big. Doesn’t need to be good offensively, but at least can defend the rim and bang against legit bigs. If we can get that, then we are set.

And I believe he is a 4 year graduate of one of the best universities in America - unheard of in the NBA.
Smarter than ****.
He came to UVA as one of my daughters was leaving.
And he is EXACTLY what we needed.
Stay healthy, dude.
