There is no way a Durant trade happens without Demar

They can sell Demar as having finished top 10 in the MVP voting but Vooch makes it as salary dump as hes an expiring.

They could sell replacing the 4th leading scorer in the nba with the 7th leading

Since they cant tank and they are re-signing Claxton and Mills Demar gives them exactly what they would need an elite scorer on a 2 year deal.

Not to mention DeMar, KD and Drummond on court together is a horrible horrible fit.

Didn't KD shot the second most Mid range shots last season behind DeMar...

The Nets are way past having to sell anything. They're a dumpster fire. Next season is a wash. It's time to accumulate as many assets as possible and start over. Vuc would be to get a big expiring contract and hopefully flip him at the deadline. They wouldn't care about him as a player.

KD loves mid-range shots, but he shoots a ton of threes too. You're essentially replacing Vuc and Williams with KD in the SL. Which one do you think provides more spacing? If he's coming to Chicago, he's going to want to play with DeRozan and LaVine, and quite frankly they have the right no-drama just ball personality you'd want paired next to Durant.

They cant take they do not own their picks so tanking gets hem nothing . They can build the best team they can on the floor and still benefit from all the other teams picks . You think because they trade Durant they simply just not try and sell tickets and make the playoffs when losing gains them nothing ?

Durant would want to come and play with Zach and ZO in a up tempo offense not a half court slog filled with mid range shots and because he also shoots the midrange shots Demar's skills are redundant because as I said who is the hustle guy on the wing unless of course the plan is for Zo to guard everybody. Is Demar guarding Tatum ,Jimmy ? , I could keep going but that lineup is not good team building its star stacking which is exactly what got BKN in the position its in now it makes no sense

It's absurd to think the Nets would have interest in DeRozan given the mess they're in right now. Still, we don't need to bicker about this. It's already well reported that they want a young player and picks.

The Nets' problem wasn't because they star stacked. It was the toxicity that Irving brought to the team and the lack of commitment that Harden showed. It poisoned the team. Nets were 13-3 when all three of them played.

1. Getting some positive players back ourselves

And

2. Hopefully get a player like KD out of the east could be a fantastic result.
