Sweeteners could be some combo of Coby, Ayo, and Terry. Vuc could also go to a third team for additional assets.

There is no way a Durant trade happens without Demar

They can sell Demar as having finished top 10 in the MVP voting but Vooch makes it as salary dump as hes an expiring.

They could sell replacing the 4th leading scorer in the nba with the 7th leading

Since they cant tank and they are re-signing Claxton and Mills Demar gives them exactly what they would need an elite scorer on a 2 year deal.

Not to mention DeMar, KD and Drummond on court together is a horrible horrible fit.

Didn't KD shot the second most Mid range shots last season behind DeMar...

The Nets are way past having to sell anything. They're a dumpster fire. Next season is a wash. It's time to accumulate as many assets as possible and start over. Vuc would be to get a big expiring contract and hopefully flip him at the deadline. They wouldn't care about him as a player.

KD loves mid-range shots, but he shoots a ton of threes too. You're essentially replacing Vuc and Williams with KD in the SL. Which one do you think provides more spacing? If he's coming to Chicago, he's going to want to play with DeRozan and LaVine, and quite frankly they have the right no-drama just ball personality you'd want paired next to Durant.

We're one of the few teams that can make a competitive offer for KD without gutting what made us competitive.

This is the Kobe problem I mentioned.

And Bam cannot even be traded to Brooklyn if both parties agreed, Designated Rookie Extension rule. It would have to Butler or Lowry+, or both. And I imagine those two old guys are the last players on Miami Brooklyn wants to start a rebuild around, if those two would even stay for a rebuild.

KD is going to have a hard time finding a home just like Kobe did.

They cant take they do not own their picks so tanking gets hem nothing . They can build the best team they can on the floor and still benefit from all the other teams picks . You think because they trade Durant they simply just not try and sell tickets and make the playoffs when losing gains them nothing ?

Durant would want to come and play with Zach and ZO in a up tempo offense not a half court slog filled with mid range shots and because he also shoots the midrange shots Demar's skills are redundant because as I said who is the hustle guy on the wing unless of course the plan is for Zo to guard everybody. Is Demar guarding Tatum ,Jimmy ? , I could keep going but that lineup is not good team building its star stacking which is exactly what got BKN in the position its in now it makes no sense

It's absurd to think the Nets would have interest in DeRozan given the mess they're in right now. Still, we don't need to bicker about this. It's already well reported that they want a young player and picks.

The Nets' problem wasn't because they star stacked. It was the toxicity that Irving brought to the team and the lack of commitment that Harden showed. It poisoned the team. Nets were 13-3 when all three of them played.

bulls should offer the best possible package without a care in the world if durant wants to be here or not the same way the raptors did for kawhi. the difference is durant has 4 full years left on his deal and is not the type of player to cause locker room drama / sit out games etc.

This and how often do we get a top 3 player in the league if not the best?

There aren't any reports out there the Bulls are even interested in Durant, and I don't count yahoo. This is what we are down to? Andre Drummond and a pipe dream? I want Durant like every other fan but thinking this has a chance is crazy.

Bulls should offer up an enormous package. Everything on the table except Zach. Durant is one of the best basketball players ever to live. He’s on the open market. Make it happen.

AK is working on the margins.Nothing special happening for the Bulls in free agency.Prepare yourself for another exciting preseason games followed by a 40-45 regular season winning record with another 1st round exit. And don´t forget about being excited how Pat´s game has evolved.

Kawhi Leonard was 27 years young when he got to the Toronto Raptors.
Kevin Durant is 34 years young right now.

Totally different situations and time frame.

I still want Durant here regardless. I'm 100% sure we're out of this though.

I'd say everyone except Derozan. I think Zach has to be included for this to happen.

You keep saying Zach. The Bulls cannot include Zach without Zach saying he would go. And he will not.

He has 4 years left with Brooklyn too and look what’s happening he already wants to leave. The contract years doesn’t mean anything if it’s Durant. He can just demand for a trade again.

The truth is though a half hearted Durant is worth more than Lavine, Derozan, Vuc, etc fully locked in and balling out as hard as they can.

Kawhi in Toronto only played 9 games the season before and had to play to show he was healthy & still worth a max contract. He was always planning on playing 1 year and leaving, just happened to be in TOR vs SA.

Durant already has his money, and he has a lot of years left. He's going to demand a move to someplace he wants to be for a few years.

I don't think Chicago is involved except as a 3rd team, which might not be bad for us.

Being a third team involved and

1. Getting some positive players back ourselves

And

2. Hopefully get a player like KD out of the east could be a fantastic result.
