I dunno, unsure. With KD, Atleast I know he’s All-World. Mitchell is legit but I worry about a 6’1” SG being a number 1 option deep into the playoffs.

Mitchell is a career 28-5-5 guy in the playoffs and has been every year of his career. He’s experienced and we have the perfect supporting cast for him to do his thing.

KD is obviously plan A but if we don’t come out with KD Kyrie Mitchell or some other random player at that level that become available then this offseason was a failure

I love that Miami front office makes wining now moves however that is also the reason we never have the assets when a star player becomes available.. Giving away so many picks for Dragic took us out of any significant trades from 2015-2021 along with some picks we gave away to get rid of terrible contracts. During that period several all NBA players became available in trade packages ( AD, Harden, Kyrie etc )

We just gave away a promising young player in Achiuwa for 36 y/o Kyle Lowry hence our assets are never enough

I agree with all of this. We fall in love with older players and trade away young guys.
