I think Mitchell should be the priority here. Hell I might even prefer a Kyrie who wants to be here if we can get him on the cheap (Herro + filler if he signs extension or Lowry if not) and if he gives us a verbal agreement not to murder any CCL passengers

I’ll keep saying this but the positive of Kyrie over the other 2 is we can still flip assets and get a collins, Barnes, OG, turner, etc.

For Utah it sounds like they're telling Mitchell they're rebuilding around him to keep him from asking out while say sure... if a crazy trade came in anyone is tradable but is actually listening to any solid offer.

Perhaps in an unforeseen turn of events we can play Utah and Brooklyn against eachother to drive down the prices of KD and Mitchell? Like if both those teams are intent on trading those players right now, and we're one of the only viable trade partners left standing that these players actually want to play for, then Utah and Brooklyn would have to compete against eachother to be our trade partner

Not bloody likely but a guy can dream

KD is just gonna have a tougher time in the west

Clippers: Wall, PG, Kawhi
Warriors: Curry, Klay, Wiggins, Poole, Draymond
Lakers: LeBron, Westbrook, AD (if they have a resurgence)
Nuggets: Murray, MPJ, Jokic
Mavericks: Luka & cast
Grizzlies: Morant & cast
Timberwolves: Towns, Edwards, Gobert

Jimmy, KD & Bam is a guaranteed finals trip (outside injuries)

Vs East

Bucks: Giannis, Middleton, Holiday
Celtics: Tatum & Jaylen
76ers: Embiid & Harden
Raptors: solid cast
Hawks: Trae & Murray
Bulls: Lavine & Derozan

There is levels to this and West clearly edges out

So the Jazz originally wanted to bring an immediate squad around Mitchell but now they wanna rebuild? Timberwolves offer was probably too juicy to pass up

We need Ayton to agree to a max with Indy and then we’re sitting a lot better in the KD pursuit. Ayton doesn’t owe anything to Phoenix who has actually kind of disrespected him in all this. Help us Ayton! Just straight up sign with Indy, no sign and trade or anything like that

Damn, Nets know he was putting up empty numbers too. Makes it a lot harder. Maybe he can be flipped somewhere for a good player though

This isn't the first time we've heard that Brooklyn isn't interested in what Phoenix has to offer. And yet there still hasn't been any reports that Brooklyn isn't interested in what we have to offer...

EDIT: never phucking mind just saw the post above this one lmao

In reality, we all know it needs to be Lowry moved and KD probably knows that too but he's not going to disrespect Lowry by leaving him out of who he wants to play with in Miami. He's at least friendly with all 3 he named and doesn't want to be the guy pushing someone out, that's where Riley will step on and say it was his decision. I wouldn't get hung up on KD expecting Butler, Bam and Lowry all being in Miami with him. He knows it's probably going to be Lowry but could be Bam instead, you absolutely don't want to move a guy like Butler who can nearly will a team into the finals and probably could have if had been healthy the whole ECF.
