And frankly Detroit will be a better fit for him with Cade and Ivey.

Once Ayton is out, that essentially eliminates Phoenix as a realistic trade partner.

Then either Toronto coughs up Barnes, Durant decides to stay or a surprise team like Boston/New Orleans decide to come in with a better offer.

Much like someone reported, I feel theres no good trade out there right now for KD.

Contenders don’t have the assets, and non contenders won’t leverage the future for 2 years of KD. KD is still a top 5 player, but the days of him being able to carry a team alone are over. Non contender teams would have to gut too much of their roster to have anything left worth pairing with KD.

The only trade that makes any sense is Barnes, but Masai does not leverage the future, even when he goes all in. He got Kawhi while keeping FVV/Siakam/OG at the time, and this time he would not trade Barnes/Precious.

Masai calls on everything available simply to see if he can fleece them, I don’t think there’s anything serious here. I’d bet his offer is something weak like OG + GTJ and picks.

How do you guys feel about trading KD to Houston for all of our picks back, a Houston first and Eric Gordon?

I know it doesn't really make sense but Houston can build around Green, Jabari and KD.

We can then just properly rebuild around Simmons and tank for a new elite star.

I think this would be my top trade out of any option.
